Unleashing the Potential of the Global Maritime Industry The global maritime industry is the backbone of globalization and international trade, contributing to human wellbeing through growth and development all around the world. But there is still great potential to increase its role and positive impact. Join us in Denmark on 5-9 October 2015 to unleash the potential of the global maritime industry.
» Danish Maritime Days provides a unique room for collaboration between the many stakeholders in the maritime industry. By working together we can do great things for the industry and even greater for the world.«josé María Figueres Olsen, Chairman, Carbon War Room
Danish Maritime Days Danish Maritime Days is a major event for the global maritime industry. It brings together stakeholders from all sectors around the world. The focus is on global challenges and opportunities facing the industry in the future. Danish Maritime Days is a unique opportunity to discuss how to strengthen the role and positive impact of the maritime industry on global growth and development. Creating a global platform for collaboration across all sectors, the many events on the agenda cover such diverse topics as opportunities for maritime growth, the future workforce, technology and innovation, transportation infrastructure, sustainable growth, maritime security and many more. Danish Maritime Days takes place on 5-9 October 2015 in Copenhagen and across Denmark.
Danish Maritime Forum The Danish Maritime Forum brings together key leaders in the industry with policymakers, experts and other influential decision-makers and opinion shapers. Together, they will work collaboratively in an informal and innovative setting to achieve a common goal: to unleash the full potential of the global maritime industry to increase human wellbeing. The Danish Maritime Forum will further pursue the fundamental challenges discussed at last year s Forum, in particular what it will take to meet the demand for transporting 20 billion tons of cargo by sea by 2030 a doubling from current volumes. The Danish Maritime Forum is by invitation only. In 2015 it takes place on 7-8 October in Copenhagen.
Future Maritime Leaders Who are the maritime leaders of the future and what are their visions for the global maritime industry? The Future Maritime Leaders Forum will bring together young persons who have the potential to shape the future of the maritime industry. Representing all sectors of the maritime industry, Future Maritime Leaders engages the next generation of maritime leaders in a conversation about where the industry may be going. The output from this gathering will be presented to the participants in the Danish Maritime Forum. Future Maritime Leaders is by invitation only and takes place on 5- October 2015 in Copenhagen.
Join the Platform Pave the way for new partnerships and take advantage of the synergies that arise from participation in a shared platform of independent, international maritime events. Danish Maritime Days is an open platform. All events throughout the week of 5-9 October are organized independently on the basis of an open invitation. All stakeholders in the industry from around the world are invited to plan events as part of Danish Maritime Days. Events may include conferences, briefings, exhibitions, company visits, receptions and dinners. For more information on how to join the open platform, please contact Danish Maritime Days at info@danishmaritimedays.com.
