4 Revelation 13: Antichrist The Beast from the sea (Gentile?) A fatal head wound healed (13:14) People worship the dragon (Satan) Satan gave authority to the beast Who is like the beast? Who can wage war with him? The Beast makes war with the saints

5 Revelation 13:11-18 False Prophet Beast coming out of the earth Jewish? Speaks as a dragon (which identifies his true allegiance) Forces people to worship the beast He deceives with his signs He gives life to an image of the beast Those who do not worship are killed

9 Revelation 14:1-3 Christ with 144,000 on Mount Zion Sealed on their foreheads (7:4-8) A voice from heaven Many waters, thunder, harps A new song before the throne Only the 144,000 could learn it OT new song = praise for mercies

14 Revelation 14:11 How long does the punishment last? The smoke goes up forever and ever No rest day or night This punishment is for those who worship the beast and receive the mark

15 Revelation 14:12-13 What is the perseverance of the saints? Keeping the commandments of God Keeping faith in Christ A voice from heaven Blessed are those who die from now on! The Spirit agrees, reward is coming

16 Revelation 14:14-16 One like a son of man Sitting on a white cloud A golden crown (stephanos) A sharp sickle Another angel comes from the temple Reap, the harvest of the earth is ripe The earth is reaped

17 Revelation 14:17-19 Another angel comes out of the temple with a sickle Another angel, has power over fire Instructs the previous angel to reap The clusters of the vine of the earth Her grapes are ripe These go into the press of God s wrath

18 Revelation 14:20 The wine press of God s wrath Outside the city Blood comes from the wine press Up to the horses bridles For 200 miles

19 Revelation 15:1-2 Another sign in heaven Great and marvelous Seven angels with seven plagues which will finish God s wrath Something like a sea of glass mixed with fire Victorious standing with harps of God

20 Revelation 15:3-4 The song of Moses and the song of the Lamb Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God the Almighty, Righteous and True are Your ways King of the Nations! Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your Name? For You alone are holy;

21 Revelation 15:4-5 For all nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed The temple of the tabernacle of testimony was opened

22 Revelation 15:6-7 The seven angels with the seven plagues come from the temple Clothed in linen, clean and bright Golden sashes around their chests One of the four living creatures Gives the angels the seven bowls full of God s wrath

23 Revelation 15:8 The temple is filled with smoke From the glory of God From His power None is able enter the temple until the completion of the seven plagues of the seven angels
