Final, detailed itinerary will be provided to registered students closer to the tour start date.) Select optional evening performances will be included as part of your program. These performances will be announced closer to the tour date. Meals listed in bold are included in your program tuition. In order to experience the cities at ground level, we will take full advantage of their extensive and convenient transportation networks. We will visit most sites by public transit and walking, rain or shine. Participants should be prepared to walk 2 4 miles per day over several hours. This tour is not appropriate for people with significant mobility restrictions. April 28, Monday (Arrival in Prague) Transfer (on your own) to hotel, K+K Hotel Central 6:30 Dinner in nearby restaurant April 29, Tuesday (Prague) Morning Seminar: Introduction to the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the Fin de Siècle This travel-study program is a mixture of a class and tourism. Most mornings we will meet for one hour after breakfast to discuss the theme of the day and its corresponding course materials. Extensive course reader (Tourguide) will be made available closer to start date as ibook or downloadable/printable PDF. Students are expected to pre-read materials.
