The change primarily reflects a fiscally neutral adjustment of $1.125 million from Vote Health to purchase additional outputs. 3,189-1,106-4,295 - Expenses to be Incurred by the Crown Funding for Capital Charge 108, ,800 - Funding for a capital charge paid by Hospital and Health Services (HHS) to the Crown. Total Appropriations for Expenses to be Incurred by the Crown 108, ,800 -
5 Capital Contributions to Persons or Organisations Capital Injections to CHEs 210,000 - (38,730) - 171,270 - Capital injections to HHS (formerly Crown health enterprises (CHEs)) to cover new investments and reconfiguration of their operations and balance sheets. The unspent balance of $ million from 1997/98 was carried forward into 1998/99. This was offset by transfers to Vote Health primarily to fund a price increase to HHS. Loans to the Residual Health Total Appropriations for Capital Contributions to Persons or Organisations 36,000-92, ,000 - A lending facility is available from the Residential Health (RHMU) to certain HHS until those HHS are able to borrow from the private sector.
