Manage your accounts Pay Bills Transfer funds Check your Balance View your Transcation History Getting Started BNC Mobile Banking enables you to do your banking quickly, easily and securely from your phone. Use it anytime and anywhere. Manage your accounts, check your balance or move money while you are on the go! Mobile Banking supports all account types including checking, certificates-of-deposit, money markets, loans and lines-of-credit. The only requirement is you must be a BNC Online Banking customer. Enrolling is easy and if you change your phone, updating your information is quick. Follow the steps in this user guide to complete the enrollment. Then download the free app, BNC Mobile Banking! 3 STEP 1 Enable BNC Mobile Banking You will need to enroll in the Mobile Banking service to access your accounts from your mobile device. Log into your Personal Online Banking account from your computer, not your mobile phone. Select the Options tab on the navigation bar and then select Mobile Settings and Web Mobile Settings. Web Mobile Settings Mobile Settings Check the box beside Enable web access for your mobile device near the top. PAGE 2

4 Next, choose either Yes or No to Receive Text Message Alerts. If Yes, enter your mobile phone number and select your wireless provider from the drop down list. Note: If No is selected for Receive Text Message Alerts, you will not receive a text message to the enrolled mobile phone as confirmation of enrollment, at completion of transfers or bill payments. 5 User Guide STEP 2 Select your Accounts Now that you have enabled access to your mobile device, choose which accounts you want to access from your mobile device. Then click Submit. Submit Note: At initial enrollment, the first account will be automatically checked. PAG E 4

6 User Guide STEP 3 Verify Enrollment A new screen will appear with the data you entered. Review the enrollment information and verify that all is correct. Check the I accept these terms and conditions then click Confirm. Confirm PAG E 5

7 User Guide STEP 4 Confirmation A confirmation screen will display to confirm your enrollment. If you chose to receive text messages, you will receive a confirmation text message that includes the URL to access Mobile Web. You may choose to access the mobile web by this address or download the FREE app for your iphone or Android phone. PAG E 6

8 User Guide HOW-TO BNC Mobile Banking Web To access the mobile site: - Go to - Enter your Personal Online Banking ID and password - You may be asked for your personal security question answers Locations: - Search for branch or ATM locations by ZIP code, street name, city or state - Choose to view all locations Viewing Alerts: - Once you are logged in, select View Alerts from the Main Menu - A list of your current alerts will display. Click on an alert for more detail - The View Alerts option will only display if you have new alerts to view Viewing Transactions: - Select My Accounts from the Main Menu - A list of your accounts will display. Select which account you wish to view - A summary screen with your Account Balance will display - Select Transactions from this summary screen; transactions from the last 15 days will display Transferring Funds: - Select Transfer from the Main Menu - Choose the account to transfer From and To - Enter the transfer amount and click Submit - A confirmation message will display after the transfer is complete and an SMS text message will be sent to confirm the transfer - Only One-time immediate transfers are available through Mobile Banking Pay Bills: - Select Pay Bills from the Main Menu - Choose the Payee and the account you want to pay the bill From - Enter the amount and click Submit - A confirmation message will display after the payment is complete and an SMS text message will be sent to confirm the transfer - Only One-time immediate payments for existing payees are available through Mobile Banking; payments will process during the next bill pay processing time PAG E 7

9 HOW-TO BNC Mobile Banking Text Message Settings Log into your Personal Online Banking: - Go to the Options tab, select Mobile Settings and select Text Mobile Banking Add your phone: - Enter your Mobile Phone Number and select your Wireless Provider from the drop down - Select the Account(s) to access via text and create a Mobile Short Name for each and click Submit - The mobile short name will be the name you include in the text to request information for a specific account Enroll: - Review enrollment information - Check the I accept these full terms and conditions and click Confirm Validate: - To complete enrollment, reply Yes to the confirmation text message sent to your mobile device VALID SMS MESSAGES Text the following commands to Bal Gives balance for all accounts Hist Gives last 4 transactions for all enrolled accounts Bal <+short name> Gives balance for specified account Hist <+short name> Gives last 4 transactions for specified account Stop Disables text messaging for mobile banking Help Gives command references - Messages are not case sensitive - Remember the mobile short name of your accounts to include in the text to request information for that account Text Mobile Settings Mobile Phone Number Mobile Short Name Submit Note: Connectivity and usage rates may apply.
