5 Description The FD-WM wall mount is specifically designed for use with FD2 Series indoor and FD5 Series outdoor dome cameras. PARTS LIST The following parts are supplied. Qty Description 1 FD-WM wall mount 4 Screws, 8-32 x 0.5-inch, pan head, Phillips 2 Screws, 6-32 x 1.00-inch, pan head, Phillips USER SUPPLIED PARTS AND TOOLS LIST The following installation parts and tools are needed but not supplied. Qty Description 1 FD2 or FD5 Series dome camera 1 T20 Torx wrench (for FD5 cameras) 1 #3 Phillips screwdriver C3967M (3/14) 5

6 Installation Install the FD-WM wall mount and your FD2 or FD5 camera to a single gang electrical box or flat wall according to one of the following installation procedures. Use the items provided in the product box and other tools required for your model as suggested in the User Supplied Parts and Tools List on page 5. INSTALLING THE FD2 SERIES TO A SINGLE GANG ELECTRICAL BOX 1. Remove the FD2 dome cover to prepare the camera for installation. Refer to the installation/operation manual supplied with the FD2 Series camera for instructions. 2. Feed the camera video and power wiring through the large oblong opening in the FD-WM wall mount. Figure 1. Feeding the FD2 Camera Wiring Through the FD-WM Wall Mount 3. Connect the camera video and power wires to the system wires in the single gang electrical box (not supplied). 4. Push the video and power wiring connectors into the electrical box so that the connectors stay securely inside the box. Figure 2. Securing Connectors in the Electrical Box 5. While allowing the camera to hang to the side, align the two holes in the protruding wall mount cover plate with the corresponding holes in the single gang electrical box. 6 C3967M (3/14)

8 7. Attach the camera to the wall mount with two 8-32 x 0.5-inch pan head screws (supplied). Figure 4. Push any extra wire above the mount into the opening between the vertical part of the wall mount and the wall. 9. Complete the installation. 9 INSTALLING THE FD2 SERIES TO A WALL 1. Use the FD-WM wall mount as a template to drill four holes in the wall surface using the four perimeter holes around the protruding cover plate. 2. Remove the dome cover to prepare the camera for installation. Refer to the installation/operation manual supplied with the FD2 Series camera for instructions. 3. Feed the camera video and power wiring through the large oblong opening in the wall mount. Figure 5. Feeding the FD2 Camera Wiring Through the FD-WM Wall Mount 4. Connect the camera video and power wires to the system wires in the wall opening. 5. Push the video and power wiring connectors into the wall opening so that the connectors stay securely inside. 11 7. Attach the camera to the wall mount with two 8-32 x 0.5-inch pan head screws (supplied). Figure 7. Push any extra wire above the mount into the opening between the vertical part of the wall mount and the wall. 9. Complete the installation. 12 INSTALLING THE FD5 SERIES TO A SINGLE GANG ELECTRICAL BOX 1. Remove the FD5 dome cover to prepare the camera for installation. Refer to the installation/operation manual supplied with the FD5 Series camera for instructions. 2. Connect the camera video and power wires to the system wires in the single gang electrical box (not supplied). 4. Push the video and power wiring connectors into the electrical box so that the connectors stay securely inside the box. Figure 9. Securing Connectors in the Electrical Box 5.
