1 How to Upload Photos You can upload.jpg,.jpeg,.jpe or.gif files up to 8 MB per photo to your inspection report one at a time or in batches. The photo viewer displays photos as 640 x 480 pixels, while the full-size viewer displays them at 1280 x 960 pixels. To take advantage of the zoom feature, we recommend uploading 1280 x 960 photos. We ll resize photos larger than 1280 x 960 pixels automatically upon upload. For Internet Explorer and all other browsers, use the following steps: 1. Select Upload multiple photos from the inspection report page to upload up to 50 photos at a time, especially if you need to upload large files. 2. Enable ActiveX if you re using Internet Explorer. Also be sure to enable Java in other browsers and allow pop-ups for all browsers including Internet Explorer. 1

2 If you re using this tool for the first time, follow the instructions below. Otherwise, skip to step Choose the correct folder from the Folders pane on the left to find your photos. Then you can either drag photos to the Drop files here upload queue at the bottom or select photos and check the boxes on each one. You can also rotate these photos by hovering over each photo and selecting the rotate icon at the bottom right. 4. Select the Upload button, and then you can view the uploaded photos as part of the inspection report. 2

3 Using Select All and Deselect All To enable the Select All feature, use the Select All button and then check the box for one of the photos in the folder to select them all. To turn off the Select All feature, use the Deselect All button. This won t deselect all of your photos. For example, you have a folder with 15 photos in it, but you only want to upload 12 of them. You can use the Select All feature and check one of the photo s boxes to select all 15 photos in the folder. Then choose Deselect All to turn off the Select All feature, so you can uncheck the 3 photos you don t want to upload. 3

4 Use the alternate uploader Follow the steps below: 1. Select Use the alternate uploader from the inspection report page to upload up to 50 photos at a time, especially if you need to upload large files. 2. Select the Add more images link or the Add more images button. Be sure to allow pop-ups. 4

5 3. Choose which photos you d like to upload to the inspection report. You can hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) to select multiple photos. 4. Select the Add more images link or button to continue uploading photos if necessary. You can also rotate them by hovering over each photo and selecting the rotate icon at the bottom right. 5. After you ve chosen all your photos, select the Upload button at the bottom right. Then you can view the uploaded photos as part of the inspection report. 5

8 Upload photos one at a time You also have the option to upload photos one at a time. If you have a lot of photos or larger file size photos, we recommend the instructions mentioned above to process photos faster. To upload a single photo: 1. Select Browse from the inspection report page. 2. Choose a photo to upload to the inspection report. File size cannot exceed 8MB. 3. Then you can view the uploaded photos as part of the inspection report. 4. Repeat this process if necessary to continue uploading photos to the inspection report.
