Business Objective To develop an enhanced CAD system. Major Deliverables Approach CAD System Mapping component for CAD Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) module In-car CAD client Calls for Service (CFS) interfaces to CLEAR and FRMS CLEMIS Services CAD enhancements are expected to be accomplished in essentially three phases, each consisting of one or more projects. 2 Oakland County Department of Information Technology Project Scope and Approach Project Name: Sizing: CLEMIS Svcs CAD Program Project ID: DF2183CC Develop enhancement design specifications Prototype the enhanced user interface (UI) Conduct user review/presentation of the prototype enhanced UI Finalize UI enhancement design specifications Develop technical specifications for performance improvements Develop database design specifications, as needed, to support the enhancements Document preliminary business rule changes, as needed, to support the enhancements Finalize user review and acceptance of the prototype enhancements Prioritize and group dependent enhancements with the user project team and obtain CLEMIS Advisory Committee approval Develop an Enhancement Roadmap for continued enhancements based upon future funding opportunities The next phase that CLEMIS anticipates is development and testing of the enhancements documented in the previous design phase and in accordance with the approved Enhancement Roadmap. Key development activities include: Programming and unit testing the enhancements Programming and unit testing of database conversion routines, if needed Create a test environment for internal testing as well as later user review and testing Performing a test conversion to create a test enhanced database, if needed Perform internal system testing and corrections to prepare the system for user review and testing Support user review and testing The final enhancement phase would be for deployment of the enhancements consisting of activities such as: Update user documentation and training materials, as needed.
