3 POCKET DOOR installation Vertical application 1. Assemble follow strip and attach to carriage plates with panhead machine screws.. Attach mounting plates (and spacers if applicable) to carriage plates with flat head machine screws.. Attach assembly to cabinet with 606N, 606P or system screws (purchased separately) Attach door guides to top and bottom of cabinet with 606N or 606P screws. 5. Attach hinges to mounting plates. 6 Horizontal application Right or left-hand POCKET DOOR hardware sets can be used. Important! Attach all carriage plates to follow strip with (4) #8 x 1/" roundhead wood screws per plate. For applications where the interior height is too small for the two piece follow strip to fit, a wood follow strip must be substituted. The smallest interior height that can be accommodated is 44 (9-5/8"). For tall or heavy doors, additional hinges and runners may be required. When adding extra runners, a wood follow strip must be used in place of the furnished two piece adjustable strip.
