Applicants holding a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD eksamen) must complete additional courses equaling 20 ECTS: HDR: Organisation i erhvervsvirksomheder (10 ECTS) and Marketing og forbrugeradfærd (10 ECTS) HDO: Årsregnskab og økonomi-styring (10 ECTS) and Marketing og forbrugeradfærd (10 ECTS) HDA: Årsregnskab og økonomi-styring (10 ECTS) and Organisation i erhvervsvirksomheder (10 ECTS) Description of Competences: Professional focus The Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration profile in Enterprise Development builds mainly on the academic competences in the organization and marketing disciplines that the students have acquired during their bachelor education. Inside the disciplines, the focus is primarily on the parts that are relevant for developmental activities. Accordingly, the profile provides a broader understanding of the organization and marketing disciplines, especially in relation to how they actively can interact in a way that supports a positive development of the company. A graduate in MSc in Economics and Business Administration in Enterprise Development is able to develop the company in interplay with the environment - especially as regards suppliers and customers. Further, the graduate is able to plan and carry out relevant developmental activities inside the firm as well as externally with the company's business relations. Practical competences A graduate in MSc in Economics and Business Administration in Enterprise Development is able to independently perform analyses which can uncover the company's need for development and point out which competences the company need to posses in order to continuously adapt itself to the changing demands from the environment. Regulations regarding internship and study abroad period: It is recommended that internship and study abroad period takes place at the third semester of the study programme. Internship can replace up to 15 ECTS electives. An internship must be pre-approved by the profile responsible and finally approved by the study board after the internship. 4 Other matters: The study programme is offered in Danish as well as in English. If the programme is completed in English language including all exams and the master s thesis, the English title will be the main title of the education. (Jeg ville forslå følgende formulering: The language of instruction is English. Students are allowed to hand in assignments and do exams in Danish language if they prefer to do so. If all exams and the master s thesis are completed in English, the English title will be the main title. Students at the profile can apply for writing a so called experimental master s thesis. Rules regarding this option are described in a special course description. The programme runs in quarters. This means that each semester is split in quarters in the following way: 1. Semester First quarter: Weeks (fall holiday week 42). Exam week 45. Second quarter: Weeks (Christmas holiday week 52/53). Examweeks Semester First quater: Weeks Exam weeks 14/15. Second quarter: Weeks Exam weeks 24/25. The above can deviate with up to one week due to changes in the calendar year.
