3 WHICH OPPORTUNITY IS RIGHT FOR YOU? EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM (ELP) The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) includes four distinct rotations over two years. The assignments provide challenging on-the-job learning and development opportunities. When you join the ELP, you will follow a specific track within the business to acquire functional expertise while still gaining exposure to the full business. These tracks include: Finance Kickstart your career in finance with exposure to financial planning and analysis, controllership, treasury, operations, investment decision-making, risk management, and valuation. Human Resources Partner with Nielsen leaders to attract, retain and develop the talent needed to grow our business and to help our global clients succeed. Technology Gain a breadth of leadership experiences in one of three distinct sub-tracks: Technology, Engineering, and Data Science. You will work with Nielsen leaders to drive and manage development projects utilizing agile or waterfall methodologies, design and create measurement solutions, and perform qualitative and quantitative data analyses. Operations Drive process improvements and will deliver data and analytics to industry leaders across Nielsen s Watch and Buy clients. Commercial Partner with our Watch and Buy clients to address their most complex business issues with opportunities in product leadership, analytics, innovation, and client service. You will gain experience in both our Watch and Buy businesses. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ANALYTICS EPERIENCE (PSAE) The Professional Services Analytics Experience (PSAE) is a direct hire analyst experience where you will immediately start developing and making an impact within your team in the Buy business. Analysts in the Professional Services Analytics Experience will conduct market research analysis for manufacturer and retail clients that will help them understand what people buy. EMERGING TECHNOLOGIST PROGRAM (ETP) The Emerging Technologists Program (ETP) is a rotational program focused on developing your depth of knowledge of our data, products, and platforms while building technical acumen. You will gain exposure to research, architecture, design, machine learning, statistical modeling, and behavioral methods. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Internship opportunities are offered in each of our business functions and will take place in Summer 2017 for 10 weeks. As an intern you will be given challenging and impactful project work, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development opportunities. Interns are a key pipeline into the fulltime early career programs and other roles at Nielsen. 3
