Along with the great courses in the coming months. Wesleyan is inviting WALL Members on some great day trips. The price you pay includes everything: transportation, food, and tickets. The first of these amazing trips is coming up soon. All the details and a registration form are included in this months newsletter. We have other important information about parking and other extras we get from Wesleyan.. See you in class. Wesleyan is now allowing WALL members to park in an extra grassy lot behind the apartments on Tucker Rd. If Parking Lot A is full, you must turn on to Tucker Road to access this overflow lot. Just use the driveway into the lot directly across the street from Villa Albicini. ART ON THE ROAD The Atlanta Botanical Gardens and their amazing glass art exhibit is stop one the upcoming day trip, but there is much more. Details on page 3 Please don t attempt to jump the curb from the main road inside campus and don t park in this auxiliary lot when it s raining. If you have any questions, contact Hannah Doan at V v

Remember any remaining payment must be made by October 4th and the trip is October 11th.

3 Page 3 Special Day Trip Offer for WALL Members Chenny Gan, the new Director of the Wesleyan College Center for the Arts, has announced a new initiative to lead cultural day trips to destinations around Georgia and our surrounding states. These trips aim to have an art, music, theatre and/or food component and are open to Wesleyan Students, Faculty and the Community, including WALL members. On Tuesday, October 11, we will make a trip to Atlanta to see the Dale Chilhuly Glass Exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, sample some Korea Tacos in Midtown, and then head over to see the Atlanta Opera's production of Mozart's first comic masterpiece --The Abduction from the Seraglio. Date and time: Tuesday, October 11, approx. 2pm-11pm. Cost: $90 Included: Transportation from Wesleyan, Tickets and Food How to Reserve: Fill out the reservation form and return the portion below the dotted line to the Wesleyan College Business Office with a deposit (min. $20) by 5pm on September 27. You may pay all at once, or pay the remaining balance by Oct. 4. 4 Page 4 CAMPUS UPDATES OF INTEREST TO WALL MEMBERS The Willet Library is currently undergoing some exciting renovations! The 2nd and 3rd floors are open and available if you'd like to use your membership cards to use the computers or check-out any books/cd's/ DVDs. Renovations will go on until December, when our new Student Center opens on the 1st floor! Elevator access is restricted, but if you call their main line ( ), a library staff member will assist you to the elevator and get you to where you need to be. The Campus Store is open Monday-Thursday,10am-9pm,and Friday from 10am-4pm. Brandon has some new and exciting apparel and merchandise on display. Stop by in-between classes for a coke, snack, or a new Wesleyan tee! The Campus Store is located on the bottom floor of the Olive Swann Porter Building. The Dining Hall hours are listed below. We love to see WALL members eating their lunch in the Dining Hall between classes! You may pay for your meal with cash, check, or credit card.
