2 The Danish Golf Union and Helsingor Golf Club welcome you to the European Ladies Amateur Team Championship Helsingor is one of Denmarks oldest golf courses, situated in the north- east corner of Zealand on the outskirts of Elsinore, not far from the ferry link to Sweden. The golf club was founded in 1927 on the site of a former Royal Danish Army drill ground belonging to the officers academy at Kronborg Castle. Today the golf club features 18 wonderful and very different holes as well as a 9- hole par 3 course. Over the years, Helsingor Golf Club has been rated among the top ten Danish golf courses many times, and the reasons for this are evident to all who play here. The course has hosted 2 European Tour tournaments, in 2006 Scandinavia Senior Open, and the 2007 LPGA Nykredit Masters, and now we have the pleasure of welcoming you. To make the course a challenge for the best ladies in Europe you will tee off from a mixture of the men s and the ladies tees. A scorecard will be available on the Championship website shortly.

The rooms will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. VERY INPORTANT WE NEED YOUR ROOM RESERVATION NOT LATER THAT MAY 1 ST. Breakfast is included in the room price at both hotels and will be available from Monday Saturday, and om Sundays. The club restaurant will be open for breakfast for early bird teams not being able to eatat the hotel. 4 Championship website: For draws, results and information please visit the Championship website on Drug abuse: In order to avoid any misunderstanding in connection with required medication, please check the list of drugs issued by your national sports council. Fruit and water: Complimentary fruit and water will be available on the 1 st and 10 th tee on tournament days. Lockers: Personal belongings may be left in the tournament office. Please ask upon arrival. Storage room for the bags will not be available. Medical care: A doctor will be on call during the Championship. Pigeon holes: Pigeon holes for the captains information will be located in the tournament office. Please check regularly for information. Practice rounds: The official practice days are Sunday 5th and Monday 6th July. Tee times will be made available on the Championship website. Practice facilities: The practice facilities will be reserved for Championship players all week.

Sunday 12 July Departure Spikes: There are no restrictions regarding spikes on the course. Team costs: Each team (6 players + 1 captain) will be charged 1500 to cover expenses such as bus transportation, trolleys, practice balls, photos and farewell dinner. Additional officials and team members are charged 250. 6 Team photos: The official photo session will take place on Monday 6 th July before the opening ceremony. Team captains will be informed of the exact time. Trolleys: Trolleys will be available for all players. Transportation to Denmark and Helsingor Golf Club Copenhagen Airport is the nearest international airport. The travel time to Helsingor from the airport by bus is appr. 1 hour. Bus transportation from and to Copenhagen Airport will be arranged for teams arriving on July 4 th and departing on July 12 th. Please observe that some waiting time may occur at the airport, as we will attempt to fill up the buses. There are trains leaving from the airport to the station in Helsingor at regular intervals, in case you arrive on other days than the one specified. A shuttle bus service will be provided between the official hotel and the golf course. Pick up times will be posted on the notice boards at the golf club and the hotels.
