If you don't have a metro card, you'll need 9 quarters for the bus. At the 116 th subway station, one can buy a metro card, or ask the bus driver for a free transfer. Take the subway line # 1 (red line) to 79th Street (DOWNTOWN). Walk 2 blocks (SOUTH/DOWNTOWN) along Broadway to 77th Street and Broadway. From JFK Airport to hotel: (Estimated Time: 1 hr 20 min., Cost: $11.75) There are multiple options: a) You can take the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica, Queens, where you can pick up the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) with service to New York Penn Station. Walk through campus and continue across Amsterdam Avenue. Make a right onto Amsterdam Avenue (walking south) until you reach 115 th Street. The entrance to Warren Hall is before reaching the corner of Amsterdam and 115 th. AFTERNOON: Faculty House Directions to Faculty House from Warren Hall (in blue dashed line on map) Walk north on Amsterdam back up towards 116 th Street. Cross the street and turn right onto 116 th. You will pass Greene Hall, the Law School, on your left and immediately after there will be a gate (before you reach Wien Hall). Turn left through the gate, right at the end, and then right again into the Faculty House.
