Who We Are: From our earliest beginnings as Seattle Day Nursery in 1909, Childhaven has cared for the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community. Today, our trailblazing childhood trauma treatment program heals the youngest victims of abuse and neglect and prepares them for success in school and in life. By strengthening family and child relationships and improving parenting skills, we break the cycle of abuse and neglect and lay the foundation for generations of safe and nurturing families. The Need: Each year in King County alone, almost 10,000 children are screened for investigations of abuse and neglect. Children who experience abuse and neglect are more likely to be arrested as juveniles and adults and 30 percent more likely to commit violent crime. One in three abused or neglected children will later abuse their own children. Sponsorship Packages: You can choose to sponsor one or more of the three major Childhaven events at a specific level. This year we welcome Ashley Rhodes- Still in her 20 s, Ashley is an internationally recognized speaker who grew up in foster care and is now a New York Times Bestselling Author, MSW, advocate, and foster and adoptive parent. Her story, education, and personal experiences give Ashley a unique expertise on how we can improve outcomes for individuals, children, families, and youth. Her first book, Three Little Words is now being made into a major motion picture and her second book is to be released in 2015.Courter to the stage as the Luncheon keynote speaker. We expect almost 1,000 supporters to attend the event. With the support of the Seattle Seahawks, this event is always a huge success! Our Honorary Co-Chairs who helped to start this tradition in 2002 are former Seahawks fullback, Mack Strong and his wife, Zoe. In addition, many influential business and community leaders attend this event. We anticipate that there will be over 650 attendees at this year s dinner and auction. 7 ADDITIONAL DINNER & AUCTION Sponsorship Opportunities Sponsorship Slide LIVE Auction Toast Golden Ticket Wine $500: Get your brand in front of the Childhaven Auction audience! During the Live Auction we will place your company logo and messaging on a slide in-between two Live Auction items. Your company logo and message will be produced on both of the jumbo screens in the ballroom for all to see! $3,500: Sponsorship includes the opportunity to present a personal toast during the LIVE Auction portion of the event. You will the full attention of the audience of 650+ donors, local business leaders while recognizing your company and its contribution to Childhaven. $3,000: 300 tickets will be sold for $150 each and the winner will have the Golden Ticket that allows the 1st place winner the selection of any LIVE Auction Item (some item(s) may be exempt) & 2nd place winner to select a piece of jewelry from the case. Sponsor would receive acknowledgement on the physical "Golden Ticket" as well as in the event program and verbally from the emcee. Sponsor would receive 2 tickets to attend the event. $5.000: Underwriting of the wine which will be served at the Pre-Event Reception, general Silent Auction Reception and at dinner. Sponsor will receive recognition in the event program (logo and name) as well as recognition at each bar and a recognition card at each guest table acknowledging the sponsor. Program Bookmark Coffee Cart Bar Sponsorship 3 Opportunities Entertainment $2,500: Branded bookmark to be inserted in each auction catalog to denote items to be bid on. Sponsor will receive 2 tickets to the event. $5,000: Guests will be able to enjoy fresh coffee drinks from a coffee cart sponsored by your company. This would include espresso machine, one (1) attendant 2 hours of service approx. 225 espresso drinks and signage with your logo and branding. Sponsor will receive 2 tickets to the event. $3,000: Bar branded with sponsor logo along with cocktail napkins and signature drink. Sponsor will receive 2 tickets to the event. $2,500: Underwriting of the evening's entertainment. Sponsor receives 2 tickets and name recognition in program and sign near entertainment. Almost LIVE Section $4,500: Naming of the Almost LIVE Section of the auction providing signage and acknowledgement in the program and on site. Sponsor receives 2 tickets to the event. Raise the Paddle Liquor Sponsor Limit 1 $5,000 Sponsorship includes; Company logo on the back of all bid cards, recognition in sponsor acknowledgements and from emcee, annual report, private tour opportunity of Childhaven with President. Sponsor receives 2 tickets to the event. The Liquor Sponsor of the Childhaven Dinner and Auction has multiple opportunities to get their products in front of upscale local business owners and community leaders. The Liquor Sponsor will provide liquor for the Pre-Event Reception (250+ attendees). Design and identify special cocktails to be served at bars. Provide Liquor Sponsor display and décor for the Pre-Event Reception Lounge with the approval of the Childhaven Auction Committee. Will allow other liquor, beer and wine beverages to be served at other bars in the Pre-Event Reception Lounge (or will provide other liquor that you represent). The following items for the Pre-Event Gift Bag will be provided to all Pre-Event Reception guests: 2 mini sample bottles of Liquor Sponsor, Liquor Sponsor promotional items (e.g. Martini shaker, etc) Sponsor receives 2 tickets to the event.
