Wireless Networks Solutions COMPANY VALUES The Board of Directors and founders of WTN says that the continued success and growth of the company, can be attributed to being able to supply a cohesive set of applications from a variety of manufacturers and make them truly work to the customer s advantage Western Telecom Networks was formed based on the principle that a company can operate with integrity while maintaining the competitive edge necessary for success and profitability. We set out to follow an aggressive growth track, based on this principle: Integrity was and is worth striving for. It is the core of our company and comprises all WTN values. Without integrity, we at WTN have to offer a customer. We feel products and services are only as good as the people behind them. That is why we strive every day in all that we do to let Integrity be our guiding light. It leads us in our efforts to make WTN the best company in the region and world for our employees, customers and vendors alike. MISSION STATEMENT Western Telecom Networks's goal is to provide leading edge, quality products at a fair and equitable price in order to generate the returns necessary to fund our long-term growth and profitability. We strive to accomplish this mission by acting at all times with integrity and treating our customers, vendors, community, employees and shareholders with respect and honesty.
PARTNERSHIPS - EXPERTISE We are constantly seeking the cutting edge, the most suitable and the most cost effective. Because each project is different, we make sure to choose exactly the right elements from the world's best technology leaders. FLEXIBILITY Instead of imposing a rigid, one-size-fits-all solution, we adjust our expertise to fit the requirements of each project. This flexibility allows us to take advantage of new technologies. It permits us anticipate future needs for solutions that grow along with our customers. ORIGINALITY Creativity is what it's all about. This is how we create a solution that will perfectly fit the client's individual needs. Because we deliver a customized solution to a unique client, we have to produce something that has never before existed. It means we take proven technologies and put them together in novel ways in order to get something done in the best way possible. TEAMWORK The large-scale projects we take on for our customers demand widely differing areas of expertise. For each project we put together a team, carefully selecting people with complimentary skills. People who know how to enhance their own value through the art of collaboration FIELD KNOWLEDGE & INNOVATION No amount of theory can take the place of knowledge gained out in the field. Our solutions have to function reliably in many different and difficult environments. They have to stand up to the rigors of the real world. Our experts spend a lot of time in the places where the finished solution will have to function. They bring this know-how back and use it to engineer even higher dependability into their projects. Our people never stop learning. Not only is the industry moving too fast to stand still. These people are passionate about their fields. That's why we build creativity into the job. This way, the customer receives truly innovative solutions created by people who keep themselves at the leading edge of their profession.
OUR STRATEGY We continue to take action to become a stronger, more focused and competitive company. Our mission our focus is to deliver true value as seen through the eyes of our customers. In so doing, we will create shareholder value by leveraging our core strengths: Our advanced national and International reputations Our track record of services innovation delivered to the customers Our deep relationships with customers across the country and the Region Delivering true value to the customer in today s industry is a multi-faceted mission, a reality reflected in our corporate strategy and 2008 priorities. The company's products and services, which aid in the installation and operation of its gear, are designed to work with existing infrastructure to provide low-cost voice, data, and video services to underserved customers in fast-growing markets. WTN's success in Jordan and North Africa has encouraged the company to target WTN vast markets, such as Sudan, Iraq, and Yemen where substantial percentages of the population do not have access to telecommunications services. The company historically has generated approximately 65 percent of its revenues from Jordan, but expansion into Sudan, Egypt all Africa, Iraq, Arabian Gulf and the Middle East is expected to reduce its dependence on Jordan. WTN maintains research and design operations in Europe and CIS with India. Several of the company's key personnel worked at many projects during the same time frame. They provide combined experience of greater than fifteen years in optical fiber networks development, mobile wireless, iden and cellular networks, civil infrastructure construction, cable engineering, quality control, production, sales and marketing. At Western Telecom Networks, technical support personnel provide technical information and answers to your questions - they are the inside sales and customer support forces. WTN builds customer satisfaction into every product. Customer service is a priority to everyone within the organization - the guiding vision is to serve customers. Teams of specialists are on hand to deliver information on all of our products from technical specifications to delivery times, and through the vehicle value-added customer support services are provided - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide a complete range of telecommunications solutions and equipment for today's telecom network providers. As it becomes increasingly important for players in the telecommunications market to make cost savings and outsource non-core activities, it is becoming increasingly important for network operators and OEMs to find suppliers they can trust. WTN provides a single source of supply for all your telecom network requirements, for example; network installation, multi-vendor equipment configuration, technical support, outsourcing, logistics, telecom training, cabinets supply, and cable and accessories product supply, distribution, staging and inventory management. MANAGEMENT SERVICES WTN range of managed services is designed to compliment our product installation services and operational services offerings. Managed services aim to help our customers cut costs by streamlining areas of their business which are not usually considered core. WTN has identified a number of these areas and has established specialized services to improve efficiencies and provide cost savings - for example: materials management, logistics, outsourcing, warehousing, spares and surplus stock disposal.
WTN operates a number of production facilities. They play a critical role in supporting our customers, which enables us to assist both network operators and OEMs, in the design and build of equipment to go directly to site. We have the expertise to design racks, frames and accessories for specific requirements. This enables us to design solutions for specific project requirements. Through our machine operation, we are able to turn designs into working solutions. The test and commissioning department was established to meet the growing need for multi-vendor installation and commissioning. WTN has acquired the technical resources to provide this service and is conversant in the use of many OEM technologies. This enables us to test and configure vendor equipment in a controlled environment, before it is shipped to site. Time on-site is critical. Our workshops provide a controlled environment for preparing products, reducing required assembly time on-site. MATERIALS MANAGEMENT The procurement, storage and logistics involved in materials can be extremely costly for network operators. Materials can also become redundant losing money and costing more to continually store. Our customers have seen major advantages in using WTN resources to manage their inventory, realizing that this is a noncore business function and an area which can be run far more efficiently by a third party. WTN has gained substantial experience in materials management operations. We have the expertise to manage the entire procurement process. Source specified materials Work with your existing supply chain Manage inventory Remove obsolete stock cost effectively Work with vendors to control OEM supplied equipment
Provide warehousing Timed deliveries to specified sites Report on product usage, stock levels, forecasts and deliveries QUALITY The company's senior management team continuously monitors our documented system, in-line with best working practices and is always looking to improve our internal systems and procedures to provide greater benefits for our customers. Quality is deemed of the highest importance when working on-site. All engineers and field based personnel go through an initial two week training course, where they learn the fundamental quality considerations and specific skills. Site work is carefully inspected by team leaders on project completion and strict checklists are followed. For example: checks are carried out on cabling, label identification, power, site clearance, sharp edge elimination, cut floor tiles are edged and thorough inspections are carried out to ensure no damage has been caused. HEALTH & SAFETY Health and safety is important to all. WTN ensures that all employees are trained in, and aware of, all relevant health and safety systems and work procedures, including CDM regulations. For companies that regularly work in field based and often hazardous environments, health and safety is of paramount concern. WTN takes every necessary step to ensure our employees, contractors and customers are not put at risk. Our internal health and safety team ensures all site based engineers and installation technicians are trained in the latest health and safety practices.
Engineers and technicians who are required to work in specialist areas receive additional training to ensure they work within the strictest health and safety guidelines. For example: Working at heights Electrical safety Personal Track Safety (PTS) Manual handling Working with dangerous substances WTN is a reliable business partner in the field of Networking and Telecommunication Services.
