The SAC shall advise the school on its SIP. School Advisory Council meets in conjunction with the leadership team to review data, set goals, and monitor the SIP. 3 The school shall complete a mid-year narrative report to analyze progress from the baseline to mid-year assessment that is reported to the to identify strategies for student interventions. After examining the school data, the LLT will target specific literacy issues and focus on strategies that support an effective teaching and learning climate. 6 mentoring program which allows one-onone reading experiences using Readers of the Month to be school-wide guest readers, the implementation of Differentiated Instruction, Small Group professional development, and a designated Professional Library with scheduled open discussions. 9 The school must implement Florida s Continuous Improvement Model (FCIM). (FCIM implemented with subgroups not making AYP) instruction in SIP. Teachers were trained during preplanning days to adhere to the procedures. Leadership team and PLC for each subject follow FCIM analysis of all subgroup data. Teachers attended inservice during pre-planning days to dissaggregate data and strategize data collection, monitoring and assessment schedules. 12 The school leadership team must monitor implementation of the School Improvement Plan. The school must participate in a comprehensive instructional monitoring process. School leadership team meets on a regular basis to monitor the fidelity of SIP, student data and programs in place. Chairs, Curriculum Facilitators, and Administrators have been trained in CWT. Teachers have been trained in the use of CWT data which is reviewed at leadership meetings and faculty meetings, and when necessary with individual departments or teams.
