1 Events OCT / NOV 2015 Programs for kids and tweens FIND CHILLS, THRILLS, AND WONDER THIS FALL Monster Mash MONDAY, OCT. 12, 10:30 11:30 AM, Halloween is just around the corner, so come join performer and teaching artist Alisa Rosenthal from the Old Town School of Folk Music in a spooky hour of sing-along songs and interactive dances sure to get your toes tapping! Come in your favorite costume, ready to sing, move, and scare! Ages 3+. Registration with an Oak Park Public card necessary. Enchanted Halloween SATURDAY, OCT. 24, 6 7:30 PM, Ever wondered how your favorite book characters would celebrate Halloween? Join us for games, crafts, stories, and refreshments in a family-friendly atmosphere. Costumes encouraged but not required. Ages 4 10, with an adult. Registration with an Oak Park Public card necessary. Alice in Wonderland Party FRIDAY, NOV. 20, 4 5:30 PM, One of our favorite storybook characters is visiting Maze Branch. Join Alice and her friends as they explore Wonderland with many interactive activities. Please feel free to arrive dressed as your favorite character. Ages 3+. Registration with an Oak Park card required. programs and classes are often photographed and/or recorded for promotional purposes. Classes are structured with Boardmaker schedules and include fun picture books and songs, along with fine and gross motor movement activities. DigiTales: Full STEAM Ahead FRIDAYS, OCT. 23 & NOV. 20, 10 10:30 AM, Stories and songs, plus quality ebooks and apps with a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) focus for even more fun. Bring your favorite stuffed animal, who will enjoy a very special sleepover at the library. Come back the next day to pick up your animal friend and see what they did all night at the library.
