1 Creating Your Signature Program How to Start: Start with WHY you are starting this business Think about the problem your business solves for people A wrong that you want to make right It s something that you are passionate about because otherwise you won t have the stamina or perseverance to see it through Look at others; who does what you do and think How can I do it differently? Right now you have chosen to create an amazing program so let s make it GREAT Create a program that is useful, that you care deeply about Think about who you are at your core, what you do best, and highlight that in your program as we move forward Believe: Before we set out to create your program it s time to believe in the limitless. That no matter what, you can dream, you can do it, and it s your program and what you want to help people with that is going to get you there. Video Create a Program: You get to decide- there is no right or wrong way to put a program together. The only wrong way is not to try. Your opportunity to create something that you love and are excited about, that will help your people, touch their lives, and create the results you know are possible for them. Results: Ask yourself what is possible for my client. What can I help him/her achieve over three months, over six months? Write down at least 20 results. You can use the answers from the interview you did with your target market; what did they say they wanted? These are a great place to start.

2 Examples: YES- lose 15 pounds, get rid of pain, save money, pay off debt, write a website, (make them concrete tangible results) NO- stop feeling overwhelmed, find yourself, stop struggling, (these are too vague- think how will they know they are no longer overwhelmed? How will THAT show up in their lives?) Pick Your Top 5 Results: Create Your System: Your system is a series of steps that you teach or do with your client once they sign on with you, similar to a course curriculum. You will cover the same steps with each client as they move through the program with you. Remember- each step is a heading and has many smaller steps underneath.

3 Can be anywhere from 3-10 steps (It s up to you, remember you can t do this wrong.) Exercise: Imagine a client who you have helped to create those 5 amazing results. They are so thrilled with you, grateful, and happy. Feel their energy. Picture him/her sitting on the other side of the room from you. Now think: what steps did you take to get her these amazing results? Step 1: Perfect- then what does she need to do? Step 2: Perfect- then what needs to happen? Step 3: Continue filling in these steps until you reach her transformation/ amazing results. This is a great exercise to do with a friend or your accountability partner- have them walk you through it. TIP- Don t wait to start selling this program until you have the program perfectly put together. You will learn as you go. Price It: Remember you are selling the transformation, NOT your time. Start with what you know- $125 an hour x 3 hours a month = $375 Add in non-time bonuses o Access o Handouts, recordings, transcripts

4 o Facebook group membership Total up the added benefits = $200 Total Price = $575 a month X 6 months = $3,450 Same time spent with the client to sign up but instead of $125 you now have $575 coming in every month for the next six months. Selling is a skill that can be learned - don t be afraid of asking for what you want. The right people WILL pay you what you want. Why Sell a Program vs. Hourly? Programs: Creates consistent income Allows you to charge for the results you provide; can charge significantly more The difference between paying $80 for a massage because I can t move my neck OR paying $3,000 for three massages a month for six months so that I never have to wake up and feel like that again. Has you spreading your message more and selling less Allows you to create great relationships with your clients so they stay with you for the long haul. A repeat customer is much easier than finding a new client Hourly: Feels like it s easier to sell by the hour because it is less expensive and doesn t require a commitment. TRUTH: selling is a skill and once you learn it this fact becomes null and void. (We will be covering sales soon.) The clients who are willing to pay for your services and who will be thrilled with everything you do want to feel taken care of. Hourly feels like a drive through service. Creates feast and famine in your business. Every month you need to hustle to hit your numbers. This energy could be better spent caring for the clients you do have, improving your skill, or enjoying the rest of your life.
