Only the volunteers will be allowed to remain in the backstage areas please understand that this is to ensure a calm, peaceful and safe experience for our young performers. We ask that you take your child to the bathroom before dropping them off with us, and make sure they have all of their show items with them. We will have an army of caring, capable mothers and faculty to take care of all of their needs and keep them occupied throughout the show. No foods or beverages, except bottled water with a cap, are allowed in the backstage area. 6 School Year Season We would love to share our next school year with you! Please look over the following options for our season. In Mid-July, all necessary registration information will be published on our website. Reminder postcards will be sent to those dancers in our children s and recreational programs, to let you know we will then be open for Fall Enrollment look on line for full information and procedures. Those dancers that are ready for our Specialty Groups will receive a more detailed registration packet by mail in Mid-July as well. PROGRAMS FOR FALL We have 3 Options for enrollment as we have three distinct programs available to best serve you: OPTION #1 The Children s and Recreational Program: for dancers that wish to take their classes a la carte. In Mid-July, when our Fall Registration is up and running, the schedule will be available for you to view and select age/experience appropriate classes based on the styles of dance in which you are interested. You may register directly on line, listing the classes you are selecting and our office will get back to you with a confirmation . OPTION #2 - The Apprentice/Competition Program: If you wish to take your dancing to a more intense level. These dancers are invited to perform in an additional show in the spring, and are invited to attend dance conventions & our guest artist series the competition dancers also perform in an additional competition in the spring. Dancers admitted into this program must be currently studying ballet, jazz, and lyrical study in our 2-week Summer Intensive in June is highly recommended. If you are placed in this program, you will be put into one of four levels within this program based on age, and will study ballet, jazz, and lyrical with the other members of your level. When you receive your detailed registration packet in the mail in Mid-July, you will also be given times for the optional classes of tap, musical theater and hiphop. Simply send back the form or complete our online registration to confirm your classes, and our office will get back to you with a confirmation . *As educators, we spend all year evaluating each child s strengths, to place our students in a level that will inspire and challenge them without overwhelming them we place you at a level that will allow for your success. If this level is not the best fit for you at this time, you are welcome to request feedback from your instructors on the best path to take your dancing to make this a good fit for you in the future. OPTION #3 - Performing Arts Dance Theater our children s company-in-residence: Entrance into this program is through an audition held in early summer.
