POSITION OBJECTIVES Assist in the prvisin f a high standard f Occupatinal Therapy services t patients f HammndCare Health and Hspitals and prvide apprpriate supprt and advice t their carers as requested (directed) by Occupatinal Therapy staff Carry ut a range f husekeeping and clerical duties within the Occupatinal Therapy Department Participate as a member f the multi-disciplinary team in imprving patients level f functinal independence and/r quality f life Participate as a member f the Service in the applicatin f the Hspital s philsphy and values t the pursuit f its bjectives in a patient centred, cntinuus quality imprvement wrk envirnment Ensure the smth peratin f the Occupatinal Therapy Equipment Lan Pl (ELP) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Missin, Purpse and Values Actively develp and prmte the desired culture f HammndCare Occupatinal Therapy staff, by ensuring all interactins, dcumentatin and cmmunicatin is cnducted in a manner which supprts the stated Missin, Mtivatin and Missin in Actin. Patient Care Assist in Occupatinal Therapy treatment regimes (including but nt limited t self-care retraining, upper-limb therapy prgrammes, meal preparatin, husehld chres, visual skills, rientatin and memry prgrammes) under the directin f an Occupatinal Therapist Assist in setting up adaptive equipment fr patients use Prvide assistance in patient care and/r equipment management during therapy sessins and hme visits Assist in the preparatin fr, and participate in cnducting Occupatinal Therapy and Diversinal Therapy grup sessins as required Assist in transprting patients t and frm ccupatinal therapy sessins Assist in the fabricatin f adaptive devices (e.g. slings, splints) r adaptatins t clthing (e.g. Velcr attachments) Assist in the develpment f resurces fr therapy prgrammes
