10 ethos 350 & 550 FLOOR STANDING CONDNSING BOILRS Drawing on the success of the thos wall mounted condensing boilers, Mikrofill introduce the thos 350 and 550. DUALTCH SYSTM Introducing the Dualtech System, a breakthrough in commercial boiler design. Dualtech features two independent premix burners to each condensing boiler. This system immediately doubles the load matching capability of each boiler thus enabling an unsurpassed modulation of 20:1. A single boiler incorporating a two thirds standby of a buildings demand clearly decreases capital cost aswell as installation time. 10

18 ethos TH MIKROVNT LOW LOSS HADR/ AIR DIRT SPRATOR As water impinges on the spiral wound brushes a low pressure area is created behind each filament of the brush, this forces any dissolved gases to be released. The use of two removable stainless steel brushes ensures that any dissolved gases within the system are removed by the lower brush, whilst gases entrained in the boiler header system are released by the upper brush. These gases then rise to the top of the unit and are expelled by the automatic air vent. The Mikrovent headers are available to suit connected loads of 80, 150, 250, 400, 750, 1000 and 2000kw. All in all the Mikrovent is a worthwhile addition to any new or refurbished commercial heating or chilled water system. 19 THOS KW FLU APPLICATIONS The thos wall mounted boiler range is approved for use with both open flued and room sealed type flue systems and as such are suitable for most applications. Flue components are readily available, including standard horizontal and vertical kits. By using either concentric or the 2 pipe system different flue lengths can be achieved. Care should be taken when siting the flue outlet as all condensing boilers produce water vapour in the form of pluming which can be a nuisance. There is a maximum over pressure of around 1.4 mbar (140 Pa) for the thos 70, 90 and 2.0 mbar (200 Pa) for the thos 110, 130 in the boiler for the flue gas discharge system.
