3 Dear Players and Delegates It is with great honor and pride that the Norwegian Senior Golf Association will take on the challenge of hosting the XXXV ESGA Championship & Cup in the time period of: 1st to 4th of August This event will be a significant milestone for us as an organizer and will certainly give our steadily increasing number of competitive Norwegian senior golfers, vital inspiration for improving their own game, by watching the best senior golfers in Europe in action. The Championship will be held at Larvik Golf Club, located just outside the city of Larvik, 20 kms from the hotel. The Cup will be held at Vestfold Golf Club, located between the cities of Sandefjord and Tønsberg, also some 20 kms from the hotel. Both courses are among the highest rated in Norway. The organizing staffs here will do their utmost to present the courses in the best condition possible. The transport between the hotel and the golf courses will be organized through shuttle bus service. All players and delegates will stay at the same hotel in Sandefjord the Scandic Park Hotel. This hotel has a reputation for its excellent cuisine and its unique style, giving you strong evidence of Norwegian art and past time whaling and shipping traditions. The official Secretariat will be located here and the hotel will also stage all ceremonies. The committee, the members of Norwegian Senior Golf and myself welcome you all most heartily. We look forward to do our utmost to make sure that you enjoy good golf and a memorable stay in Norway and the many facets the county of Vestfold can present. 6 Important Informations Please Check Actual Rules & Conditions of Play 4 Important Informations 4.1 Hotel Information Scandic Park Hotel Strandpromenaden Sandefjord Norway Tel Mail: parksamndefjord@scandichotels.com Registration Golfdesk in the hotel-reception will be in operation Sunday the 31st of July from 10:00 to 22:00 and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 07:00 to 20: Parking & Costs Parking is available at the hotel-parking-place and at a official parking-place for a fee. 4.4 Transportation Shuttle Buses available from Hotel to and from the Golf Courses free of charge. 4.5 Official Notice Boards All information will be available at the notice board located at the hotel and golf courses tournament desks. 4.6 Restaurants Several restaurants will be in operation in the Hotel & Golf courses. 4.7 Caddy Room Available for Golf Bags at the Golf Courses, free of charge. 4.8 Driving Range Practice balls available at driving ranges free of charge. 4.9 Golf Carts and Electric Trolleys The golfclubs has a small amount of Golf Carts and electric Trolleys available. In the Championship and Cup, Golf Carts are not allowed. In the President Cup, Golf Carts can only be used by players, for whom it is strict necessary. 6

7 Official Accommodation Scandic Park Sandefjord 5.1 Scandic Park Sandefjord Nestled in the bay of Sandefjord, you will find Scandic Park Hotel Sandefjord. This first-class hotel was built in 1959 by the famous shipping magnate, Anders Jahre. With its 350 rooms (680 beds) and m 2 of conference space, this hotel is ideal for meetings, conferences, business and vacationing! It is the largest hotel between Oslo and Bergen and is considered one of Norway s best. Scandic Park Sandefjord has a lot of history. It was originally built using materials such as gold and marble. 10 The characteristics of Larvik Golf Resort 6.1 Larvik Golf Resort HOLES: 18 PAR: 72 DISTANCE: 6,107 M (yellow tee) Built: 1993 Courseguide 18-holes. It is six par 5, six par 4 and six par 3- with a total length of 6295m from white tee, and with a high standard of maintenance - the course in Larvik have high international renommé. 11 The characteristics of Vestfold Golf Resort 6.2 Vestfold Golf Resort HOLES: 18 PAR: 72 DISTANCE: 5800 M (yellow tee) Built: 1958 (9 holes) The course is one of Norway`s eldest 18-holes courses, and have been rebuilt several times. The course got 18 holes in In august 2002 was opened a complete new course, where all greens, teeplaces and bunkers was rebuilt. In the same year a new 9-holes course was opened. 12 The characteristics of Sandefjord Golfcourse 6.3 Sandefjord Golfcourse HOLES: 18 PAR: 71 DISTANCE: 5476 M (yellow tee) Built: 2009 The course was opened in 2009 with only a 5 minutes drive from Sandefjord.
