1 Geelong Football Club Schedule for the Geelong Football Club 2016 Raffle Raffle Name Promoter Relevant State(s) Geelong Football Club 2016 Raffle The Geelong Football Club 2016 Raffle will be conducted by the Geelong Football Club Limited (ABN ) of Simonds Stadium, Kardinia Park, La Trobe Terrace, Geelong, Victoria, 3220 ( GFC ), via its nominee, the Chief Commercial Officer of GFC. The GFC is a not-for-profit organisation. Entry is open to residents of Victoria. Permit Numbers Authorised under: VIC 10523/16. Entry Period The raffle commenced at 9am (AEST) on 13 July The raffle closes at 5pm (AEDT) on 21 October No entries will be accepted after this time. Entry Restrictions Website Maximum Number of Tickets Raffle Entry Procedure Entry is open to residents of the Relevant State aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Entry Period. Entrants do not have to be a member of the Geelong Football Club in order to enter. A total of 170,000 tickets will be printed. How to purchase tickets: Eligible entrants may purchase raffle tickets: (a) online at the Website, (b) by a GFC member distribution through mail, or (c) directly from GFC Membership Services. Entrants must complete in full their contact details at the time of purchase of their raffle ticket in order for their entry to be eligible. If an entrant purchases an entire book of raffle tickets, the entrant must complete (in full) the raffle ticket stub for every ticket within that raffle ticket book. Ticket prices: Raffle tickets cost $5.00 each, and are available for individual purchase, or in a bundle purchase of a book of 10 tickets for $ Maximum number of entries:

2 There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets that may be purchased per person - purchases are subject to raffle ticket availability. Book Purchasers: In order for entries to be eligible, books of raffle tickets containing sold and unsold ticket stubs, completed payment form (providing contact details, number of tickets sold and payment details if applicable) and accompanying payment must be returned by the closing date to: Geelong Football Club PO BOX 461 Geelong VIC 3220 Payment can be made by enclosing a cheque or money order payable to the Promoter or by providing credit card payment details on the payment form. If a book purchaser returns the book(s) of raffle tickets with accompanying payment after the closing date, those who purchased tickets in that book(s) will be notified and provided with the option of having the payment returned or donated to the Promoter. Verification Requirements Draw Details Entrants must retain their original raffle ticket specifying the unique ticket number for verification purposes. Failure to produce the raffle ticket when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of the entry and forfeiture of any right to a prize. If requested by the Promoter, eligible entrants must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a Prize. The raffle draw will take place as follows: Date: Friday 28 October Time: 3pm (AEDT) Location: Simonds Stadium, Kardinia Park, La Trobe Terrace, Geelong, VIC, Draw method: Numbered ticket stubs will be manually drawn at random from a barrel. First prize will be drawn initially, followed by all other prizes in descending order. A ticket stub which has been drawn is not eligible to be drawn again. A complete list of the prizes is available below and on the Website. The draw will be conducted in the presence of representatives of the Promoter, together with an independent witness who is not associated with the management or conduct of the Raffle or the benefitting organisation in any way. Draws for the Book Purchasers Prize and eticket Bonus Prize will be conducted immediately after the main raffle draw.

Prizes to be redeemed in accordance with expiry dates on vouchers. See standard terms and conditions at : Entrants who purchase 5 or more tickets online will be entered into a separate draw to win a $500 Geelong Cats Membership Services voucher. Total Prize Pool Additional Information - Prizes Up to $75,792 (including GST). First Prize: The prize must be collected from the nearest Ford dealership to the winner s place of residence. The Promoter will advise the winner of the location of that dealership, once

4 their entry has been verified and they have been declared the winner. Collection of the prize is subject to availability, however the Promoter anticipates that the prize will be supplied within 90 days from the date of winner verification. If the winner is unable to collect the prize from the specified dealer, they will need to make their own arrangements with the dealer at their own cost. The prize will be supplied as described. If the winner wishes to purchase additional features or upgrades to the prize, then they liaise directly with the dealer in that regard and will be solely responsible for any associated costs. The winner must provide all information and sign all documents necessary to enable the Promoter to register the vehicle in the name of the winner prior to collection. Receipt of the 1 st prize is subject to the winner being able to lawfully take possession of the prize and comply with all registration and compulsory third party insurance requirements of the state/territory in which the winner collects the prize. Second Prize: A $5,000 voucher to be used at Geelong Travel. Voucher must be used in one (1) transaction, and the winner has twelve (12) months to use the Voucher from the draw date. Voucher is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Third Prize: 52 tickets in total provided as a bundle of tickets sent by mail to the winner. Prizes to be redeemed in accordance with expiry dates on vouchers. See standard terms and conditions at Book Purchaser and eticket Bonus Prizes: Prizes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed towards 2017 Geelong Cats membership and season seats only. Notification, Verification and Delivery Winners will be notified by telephone within 2 business days of the draw, following which written notification will also be provided. If winners comply with these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter verifies and accepts the entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will deliver the prize (to the address provided by the entrant at the time of entry or via the notification and verification process) within 28 days of the prize being awarded. The Promoter takes no responsibility for an incorrect address being provided when entering the Raffle or during the notification and verification process, and (once dispatched), the Promoter is not liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way. Publication of Winners Prize winners names will be published on the GFC Website on Friday 28 October 2016 for a period of 28 days. Prize Claim Date Winners have 12 months from the Draw Date in which to claim their prize. Winners are

5 to contact the GFC via Mr Jon Barr by ing in order to claim their prize. Unclaimed Prize Arrangements If a prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter may sell that prize (subject to regulatory approval). Proceeds from such sale (minus the reasonable costs of the sale) will be paid to the Treasurer for payment into the Consolidated Fund.

6 Terms and Conditions of Entry for the Geelong Football Club 2016 Raffle First up 1. These terms and the Schedule form the Conditions of Entry for this Raffle, and set out all the information you need to know regarding this Raffle. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless otherwise stated. If there s any inconsistency between these terms and the Schedule, then what s in the Schedule is correct. By submitting your entry, you agree that these Conditions of Entry apply to your entry. 2. Any updates to these Conditions of Entry will be subject to regulatory approval, and will be published on the Website, so it s important to check these Conditions of Entry regularly. Who can enter and who can t 3. The eligibility requirements for this Raffle are set out in the Entry Restrictions. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or organisations associated with this Raffle are ineligible to enter. Immediate families means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manger, employee, officer or contractor. How to enter 4. To enter, entrants must follow the Raffle Entry Procedure. 5. It is the entrant s responsibility to notify the Promoter if their contact details change during the Entry Period. 6. The Promoter will not accept entries which are incomplete, illegible, or which are generated by computers or other automated means. 7. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entry in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry or if, in its reasonable opinion, an entrant tampers or interferes with an entry mechanism in any way. 8. If the Raffle cannot run for reasons beyond the Promoter s control (for example, infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or technical failures), the Promoter reserve the right to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle (subject to regulatory approval). If that happens, the Promoter will endeavour to notify and provide entrants with the option of having payment refunded or donated to the Promoter. If the Promoter suspends or modifies the Raffle, the Promoter reserves the right to determine how the suspended or modified Raffle proceeds and prizes are awarded (again, subject to regulatory approval). 9. All decisions made by the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Raffle are final, and no correspondence will be entered into (subject to the direction of any regulatory authority). Prizes 10. Information about the Prize(s) and Additional Information Prizes (if any) are set out in the Schedule. Prize values are accurate as at the commencement date for the Raffle. Any variation after that date is beyond the Promoter s control. All costs, fees, charges or expenses associated with the Prize(s), which are not specified in the Schedule, are the responsibility of the winner(s). 11. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter will substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value (in its discretion), subject to regulatory approval. How winners are chosen and notified 12. All tickets that have been paid for will be entered into the Draw, with the exception of any entry (ticket stub) which the Promoter deems to be incomplete, illegible, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise

7 unsightly. Tickets not paid for will not be included in the Draw. The Promoter is not liable to any entrant if their ticket stub is not included in the Draw for any reason under this paragraph. 13. Draw Details are set out in the Schedule. Winners will be notified, and their names published, in accordance with the Notification and Publication of Winners information set out in the Schedule. How to claim prizes 14. All claimed prizes (other than the 1 st prize) will be distributed to winners within 28 days of the draw. The 1 st prize will be delivered within 90 days of the draw. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 15. If (having made reasonable efforts) a prize winner cannot be contacted, or if a prize winner is deemed ineligible to receive the prize, or if any prize is not accepted or claimed by the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell the prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for its not-for-profit purposes. 16. If requested by the Promoter, prize winners must sign an indemnity and exclusion of liability in the form provided by the Promoter. If a winner does not sign that form within the time specified by the Promoter, they will not be able to participate and that winner s entry or prize claim will be declared invalid. 17. If you are a winner, you are responsible for your use of the Prize, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use. General stuff (boring but important) 18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over telephone communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including any costs incurred. 19. You acknowledge that there may be inherent risks in some aspects of the Raffle or the prize and that participation in the Raffle or the prize may involve participating in dangerous activities. By entering this Raffle and/or accepting the prize, you accept that risk for yourself and for your companion(s) (if applicable). 20. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this Raffle will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person s negligence) in connection with this Raffle or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 21. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes. 22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this Raffle results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office s stated view that where the parties are at arm s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

8 Promoter s use of entries and personal information 23. On submission, entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering this Raffle, you consent to the Promoter using your entry in any media for an unlimited period without compensation for the purpose of promoting this Raffle (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 24. By participating in this Raffle, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use and disclose the personal information provided by the entrant for the purpose of conducting the Raffle and for any of the purposes set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy (available at which contains information about how you may access and seek correction of your personal information or complain about a breach of your privacy, and how the Promoter will deal with that complaint. You can request to access, update or correct any personal information we hold about you by writing to the Promoter s Privacy Officer at (03) or by sending an to privacy.officer@geelongcats.com.au. 25. If requested by the Promoter, each winner must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge. If you are a winner, you consent to us using your name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without compensation for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 26. Any requests to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter. 27. The Car: The car will be a Ford Everest Trend 4WD, 6 Speed Automatic Transmission with a 3.2 Litre diesel engine with Satellite Navigation and prestige paint valued at $68,292, including on including 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty and dealer delivery charges (which may vary State by State). Ford Motor Company of Australia Ltd may vary the colour at its own discretion. Additional insurance, options, fuel and all other ancillary costs associated with the prize and its use are the responsibility of the winner. Please note the vehicle that will be on display to promote the raffle is not the vehicle that will be given to the winner. The specifications of the display vehicle, including without limitation, the colour may be different to the vehicle supplied as the prize. The winner must collect their prize from the Ford dealership closest to the winner s place of residence in Australia. Collection of the prize is subject to availability of the vehicle, but is anticipated to be within Ninety (90) days from the date of winner notification. Any costs incurred in collection of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The location of dealership will be notified to the winner in writing within 5 business days of the raffle drawn. If the winner is unable to collect the car from the specified dealer they will need to make their own delivery arrangements with the dealer at their own cost. The vehicle details as stated in these terms and conditions are not negotiable. No additional features or upgrade of the vehicle will be undertaken by the Geelong Cats.
