Correlated Color Temperature (CCT): 70W- 400W equivalent: 3000 K, with a tolerance of ±300 K B. Vibration Level, minimum per ANSI C136.31: Level 2 C. UL listing: 1598 or CSA C22.2 No D. Luminaire shall meet the performance requirements specified in ANSI C136.2 for electrical immunity, using the combination wave test level 10kV/5kA ( Enhanced ) E. Luminaire shall be listed on the DesignLights Consortium Qualifying Products List by bid submission deadline as specified in the document. F. All LED fixtures must be from the same family grouping as defined by the Design Lights Consortium. 2.2 POWER SUPPLY/DRIVER A. Input voltage, functional range, 60 Hz, Vac : V B. Power Factor (PF), minimum across specified voltage range: 0.90 C. Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) at full input power and across specified voltage range, maximum: twenty percent (20%) D. Protect the luminaire from damage and failure for transient peak voltages up to 10 kv (minimum) on-board circuitry shall include surge protection device to withstand high repetition noise transients as a result of utility line switching, nearby lightning strikes, and other interference. 3 2.3 PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS A. Luminaire Housing Construction 1. Ingress Protection (IP) minimum rating of IP54 or UL 1598/CSA C22.2 No listed for wet locations 2. Luminaire housing shall be cast aluminum construction 3. NEMA 7-pin twist lock photo control receptacle in accordance with ANSI C The housing shall include a hinged downward opening door for access to all internal components 5. Luminaire housing shall have no access panels or points located on the top of the fixture, aside from the photocell receptacle 6. Each housing shall be provided with a slip fitter capable of mounting on a minimum 1.0 to 2.50-inch O.D. pipe tenon a. The slip-fitter shall be capable of being adjusted a minimum of ±5 degrees from the axis of the tenon in a minimum of five steps (+5, +2.5, 0, -2.5, -5); and b. The slip-fitter clamping brackets shall use no more than 4- hex head bolts 7. Luminaire shall include quick wire connect/disconnects to the driver and on all wired connection points 8. All internal components (except wires) shall be mounted to the luminaire housing B. Luminaire Mounting 1. Luminaire shall include a gasket to prevent bird intrusion as specified in ANSI C It must: a. Be flush to the surface of the luminaire housing, and b. Limit the opening around the tenon to no more than ¼ 2. Luminaire shall not include any other barrier between the tenon and the terminal block that requires the service wires to pass through C. Access Door: 1. The access door shall swing open to a minimum of 90 degrees 2. The access door shall be designed to open by hand, without tools 3. The access door shall be secured using one of the following: a. two or fewer latches, OR b. a single thumb screw, OR c. a single button Appendix A A-3

4 D. Components Requirements 1. The Luminaire optical assembly shall have a minimum rating of IP66 2. No part shall be constructed of polycarbonate unless it is UV stabilized (lens discoloration shall be considered a failure under warranty) 3. The Luminaire cooling system shall be passive by design with no moving parts, such as fans, pumps, or liquids 4. Field wires connected to the luminaires shall terminate on a barrier type terminal block secured to the housing. The terminal screws shall be equipped with wire grips for conductors up to No FINISH A. Luminaire housing finish: 1. Shall be a powder coated 2. Shall exceed a rating of six per ASTM D1654 after 1000 hours of testing per ASTM B117 or shall be warrantied against degradation (including chipping, peeling, blistering, fading, corrosion, etc.) for the duration of the luminaire warranty period. 2.5 MARKING A. Luminaire shall have an internal label per ANSI C B. All UL or CSA-approved components shall be labeled or recognized as such. 2.6 PHOTOMETRIC PERFORMANCE A. For each of the LED fixtures offered to replace the existing five high pressure sodium (HPS) fixtures listed below, the Illuminance (E) (as defined and by ANSI/IES RP-08-14) values in foot-candles (fc) shall meet or exceed the values presented Table 1. 6 2.8 LED Luminaire Backlight Shield A. Luminaire shall be provided with the capability for optional, field-installed backlight control. B. Backlight control shall be no more than two pieces. C. Backlight control shall be installed using stainless steel fasteners and be provided by the manufacturer. D.
