1 Whitney Creek Ranch Private Treaty Angus Bull Sale SPRING 2007
2 Welcome to Whitney Creek Ranch! Our cows are a drought-tested, hardy bunch that excels in fertility, soundness, and longevity in a moderate, easy fleshing and correct frame. We breed for uniform, consistent, efficient, and balanced trait cattle influenced by the best of Shoshone, Wye, Emulation, and foundation Traveler and Rito genetics. Our calves were ultrasounded in December 2006 by Dr. Allen Williams, Tallgrass Beef Company using Beef Image Analysis (BIA) ultrasound technology. Here is what Allen had to say about the results, Whitney Creek Ranch bulls exhibit exceptional depth and thickness in a very moderate framed package. Their ultrasound data is very consistent, with the bulls showing excellent tenderness, IMF, and muscle shape scores. These genetics should work equally well on both grass and grain. Whitney Creek Ranch bulls scored well in all the measured carcass parameters and easily met the requirements to be endorsed as a Tallgrass Beef Company Approved Seedstock Provider. We are proud of our bull offering this year. We have something for everyone, from heifer bull prospects to high performance maternally oriented cow bulls. Come take a look or give us a call, and learn why Whitney Creek bulls are second to none. The bulls are priced from $1800 to $2800, with volume discounts available. The bulls are developed on a forage-based ration ensuring sound, sensibly conditioned bulls that are ready to work. We look forward to hearing from you. For additional information, please call us at , or send us an at wcr@mtintouch.net. Taylor & Sally
