3 J & L Livestock Joe & Linda Goggins & Family 4935 Powmer Road Billings, MT Cell (406) Res: (406) Dear Friends and Cattlemen, On behalf of Linda, the kids and I, Merrill and Kathleen Ostrum and their crew, we welcome you to our 4th Annual Montana Angus Female Bonanza Sale. In this catalog, you will find 985 bred heifers, of which 652 are carrying AI sired calves by Connealy Danny Boy. The Danny Boy calves are early gestation calves that come right and have worlds of grow and muscle to them. The Danny Boy females we have in production are beautiful uddered, moderate framed and some of the best cows we have ever been around. The balance of the heifers are bred to low birthweight half brother sons of Danny Boy purchased from the Vermilion Ranch. These heifers will be sold in short-day calving groups. We will also be selling a fancy group of 2 coming 3 year old Angus cows, 1338 head, all ultrasounded in short-day calving groups. All February, March and April 1-18 calvers will be sold in groups either carrying bull or heifer calves. These young cows are bred to half brother sons of Connealy Danny Boy or Baldridge Nebraska also purchased from the Vermilion Ranch. The Red Angus cows selling will be sold in the same manner as the black cows. They are all 2 to 4 year old cows with short calving periods plus 50 bred heifers. They are bred alike to Red Angus bulls from Redland Red Angus Ranch and Basin Red Angus Ranch. The females in this sale have a whole lot of what I call Program behind them. The calves they are carrying will be bred alike, look alike and have tons of genetics behind them. They will have Program. Over the years, I have watched and helped sell thousands of top feeder cattle and replacement type cattle and it has become very clear these feeders and replacement type cattle that fetch the high prices are those that have some Program behind them. At this time I want to give a special thank you to all my family, friends and neighbors for all their help in making this sale happen. We went through a tremendous amount of work and effort to bring you this set of cows and bred heifers. Dr. Ralph Miller ultrasound pregnancy tested all of these females. You can buy with confidence as he is, no question, one of the best in the world at what he does. We will finish the day selling 5 broke geldings that have all seen lots of riding. We will tell you everything we know about them on sale day. Again, thanks for the interest. We are very proud of this female offering and will stand behind them 100%. Sincerely, Joe Goggins VACCINATIONS: PREG GUARD 10 FP AND POURED WITH IVERMECTIN IN THE SPRING 100% BANGS VACCINATION SHIELDS YOU CAN BUY AS MANY AS YOU NEED OUT OF ANY LOT ON A GATE CUT BASIS AT ANY TIME 3
