5 RECOMMENDATIONS Enclose three letters of recommendation written by teachers, employers and/or others who know you well. Recommendations must be received by the Scholarship Committee in envelopes sealed by the reference source CHECKLIST Submit this application when all items are completed. Statement of education and career goals 4. Involvement in school and community activities 5. Financial need 6. Other (e.g., work experience) In order to qualify, candidates must be current members of District Two - Sons of Norway or children or grandchildren of current members of District Two - Sons of Norway. The applicant must have met the entrance requirements (e.g., completion of at least one year of studies at the university level) and been accepted to attend the International Summer School at the University of Oslo. The recipient will be expected to provide the balance of the funds needed for expenses of the six-week summer session and other costs of the trip to Norway and return.
