11 GENERAL INFORMATION MENU SELECTION Final menu selection for all food and beverages supplied by Grand Portage Lodge & Casino must be given two weeks prior to the scheduled function so that items may be guaranteed. Additional food or beverage from outside the premises requires prior authorization. Should you require assistance with your menu selection, please contact our Banquets & Meetings department. GUARANTEE A guaranteed number of guests is required two weeks prior to function date. All charges will be based on the guaranteed or actual number of guests served whichever is greater. The Lodge will set up for approximately 5% above the guaranteed number. Should the number of guests attending the function differ greatly from the original number quoted, the Lodge reserves the right to provide an alternative function room best suited to the group s size. SERVE TIME Morning and afternoon refreshment service is designed for ½ hour serve time. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Buffets are designed for one hour serve time. A surcharge will apply for extended service. LIQUOR SERVICE All beverage and bar services are to be provided by Grand Portage Lodge & Casino. A portable bar is available for use in banquet rooms for a $100 charge. Grand Portage Lodge & Casino permits only Lodge bartending staff to serve liquor at all functions. DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY A 50% deposit of the estimated costs of the event is required at booking. Deposits are refundable should the function be canceled 21 or more business days prior to the event. For cancellations made 8 20 business days prior to the scheduled event, the Facility User will be responsible for 50% of the cost of the event. For cancellations made within 7 business days of the scheduled event, the Facility User will be responsible for 100% of the cost of the event. If any items (i.e. food, beverage, equipment, etc.) have been ordered specially for the event, the Facility User is responsible for 100% of the cost of those items, no matter the time frame in which the cancellation was made. If the cost is in excess of the 50% deposit received at the signing of this agreement, the difference will be billed to the Facility User accordingly. PAYMENTS Payment is due upon completion of function unless prior written arrangements have been made through our Banquets and Meetings department. PRICES All prices are subject to change without notice. Price quotes are valid up to 30 days after inquiry. TERMS & CONDITIONS Complete Terms & Conditions specific to the event will be presented to the Facility User by our Banquets and Meetings department during initial booking.
