1 PowerPoint Task: E-vents part 2 (Start by opening your myevents PowerPoint from Part 1) 14 You are going to edit the master slide. This allows all slides to be formatted at once. Open the Slide Master: > Go to the View tab > Presentation Views section > Slide Master icon 15 Change the font size of the title in the Slide Master to size 36. > Click into the title section > Home tab > Font size 16 Change the font type of the title in the Slide Master to a font style you like. 17 Change the font colour of the title in the Slide Master to a colour that you like 18 Add a shadow effect to the title in the Slide Master > highlight the title in the Slide Master > go to the Home tab > go to the Font section > click on the text shadow icon

2 19 Insert the e-vents logo.gif into the bottom left-hand corner of the Slide Master (above the footer section) > download or copy the logo to your area > make sure you have the Slide Master open > Insert tab > Illustrations section > Picture icon > Browse to where you have saved the logo > click OK When you close the Slide Master you should see that the logo appears on all slides. 20 You are going to display your name in the footer of all slides > make sure you have the Slide Master open > go to the Insert tab > go to the Text section > choose Header and Footer > Select the Slide tab on the pop-up window > Tick Footer > Enter your name

3 21 Insert the date into the footer of the Slide Master making sure that it updates automatically > Go to Slide Master view > Go to the footer section of the Slide Master > Click into the date section in the footer > Go to the Insert tab > Go to the Text section > Click on Date & Time > Select one of the date formats from the list shown > To make the date update automatically every time you open the presentation tick Update Automatically > Click OK 22. Now you are going to apply automatic slide numbering. > Go to Slide Master view > Go to the Insert tab > Go to the Text section > Click on Slide Number > Tick Slide number You will see the bottom right-hand box gets a bold outline around it when you tick slide number. Try unticking it and see it change. Tick Don t show on title slide. Click Apply to All.

4 When you run your slide show you will see the slide number in the bottom right-hand corner of your slides. If you remove a slide from your presentation the slides will automatically renumber themselves. If you add an extra slide into your presentation the slides will automatically renumber themselves. 23. Close the Slide Master view > Slide Master tab > Close Master View 24. Slide 3, Price List, needs a table to be inserted. > Go to slide 3 Change the layout of the slide: > Go to the Home Tab > Go to the slides section > Choose Layout > From the selection of designs offered choose Title and Content. > Click onto the table icon in the centre of the slide A pop-up window will appear. Choose 2 columns and 5 rows Click OK

5 24a. Enter the details below into your new table: Product Price per day Bouncy Castle Inflatable Slide Sumo Wrestling Suits Inflatable Assault Course 25. The About Us slide needs to be moved so that it is slide number 2. You are going to try two different ways of doing this. Method 1 > Using the thumbnail images of the slides on the right-hand side hold your cursor over slide 5. > Drag slide 5 up until you see a line appear between slide 1 and 2. > Let go of your cursor. Slide 5 should now be in the position of slide 2. Use the undo button to put slide 5 back into its original position. Method 2 > Go to the View tab > Go to the Presentation Views section > Click on Slide Sorter > You will see thumbnails of the slides like this > Hold your cursor over slide 5 and drag it between slides 1 and 2. > Let go of your cursor when slide 5 is in the correct position. Select view Select slide sorter Click on the About Us slide, and drag it so that it will be displayed after slide 1. SAVE THE COMPLETED PRESENTATION AND IT TO YOUR TEACHER.
