1 Welcome to Berean Baptist Church Children s Choir 2016 We GATHER to GROW in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and share the gospel with these kids through scripture and song. We desire to nurture in each child their musical gifts so they can use them to worship and glorify the one true God. Join us this winter as we leave the modern world behind and enter the ancient world of kings who lived 2000 years ago and learn from their lives and choices. King Saul, King David, King Solomon, and even King Herod will make appearances. Kids will learn that the successful kings in the Bible were plugged in to the power of God and sought God's wisdom. Pray that these kids will have hearts that seek God and allow His Spirit to dwell in them! May these kids also realize that they can experience the Kingdom of God because of King Jesus- our KINGDOM CONNECTION! The following pages include information about the calendar, contact info, & Kingdom Connection song words. Just reading those words will give you a glimpse of the depth of Biblical truths your children will experience. Directors like to know if your child will miss a practice and we need to know if your child will miss a performance, so please contact Mary Beth Eiter when you know you ll miss a performance. The volunteer directors truly love working with your kids. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please contact Tanner Pinkerman in the office or Mary Beth Eiter. We will bring them to Sunday school after they sing. February 3* We will have rehearsal 5:45-6:30. Clubs do not meet because of FMSC. February 10* Drama Auditions will be Feb.3 & Feb. 10 February 17 Regular Rehearsal February 21 Kids will sing at 8:30. Please bring kids to the sanctuary at 8:10. We will rehearse the remainder of 1 st hour, so you can attend the whole service. Please pick up your child in room 112. We look forward to this valuable rehearsal time. 4 WE WANT A KING Solos. What good is a king who doesn t live in a palace? What good is a king that won t fight to keep you free? What good is a king who won t lead you into battle? What good is a king that you can t even see? The other nations have one, we want one too! We want a king! We want a king! It s such a little thing to ask for; please give us this one thing.
