Inventory and provide necessary K-5 materials for the following English Language Arts and Mathematics diagnostic tools: Leveled Literacy Libraries DRA2 Assessment Kit Journeys Benchmark Assessment Math Expressions Assessment Guide Continue the implementation of Journeys and Math Expressions with fidelity in grades K -5. Staff,, Teachers District Protocol, Curriculum Revision Plan, Curriculum Builder,, Curriculum Maps, Pacing Guides Inventory, Purchase Orders, Assessment Data, with data driven differentiation, Data Driven Interventions. WalkThroughs, Teacher Observation, OnCourse Lesson Plans 2,4 2,4 Analyze evidence of student achievement data for the Title I and the Title III programs to determine necessary revisions in program curricula, program duration, and teaching strategies. Adopt & implement a new math program aligned to the standards for the Middle School and High School level. Assemble a Middle School and High School Math Committee to revise curriculum that incorporates differentiation, and to develop a pacing guide. 2 1,3 Provide additional instruction to students as indicated from the data (Report Cards, Local Assessments, Benchmarks, Standardized Test Scores) through the Extended Day Program, LEAP, individual teacher instruction, basic skills instruction, and other interventions as deemed appropriate to support increased achievement levels. Continue the implementation of Leveled Literacy Intervention in grades K-5 for the Title l Schools. Teachers, Academic Coaches, Title I & III Administrators, Title I & III Enrollment Lists/Attendance, Assessments, WalkThroughs, Teacher Observations, Develop exemplar lesson plan template in all content areas for greater differentiation in ELA and Math to bridge the achievement gap. Provide ongoing systemic support for the implementation of the new math program & current ELA program through the use of Academic Coaches who will provide monthly professional development related to implementation concerns and rigorous expectation of the PARCC assessment. Explore the feasibility of using Academic Coaches at the Middle School level for the 2015/2016 school year in order to evaluate the possible integration of dedicated Academic Coaches at the Middle School and High School level for the 2016/2017 school year. Math Coaches Coaches Schedules, Sign-In Sheets, Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Teacher Feedback via Survey Data One session will be provided monthly in the area of English Language Arts by an ELA Coach. One session will be provided quarterly in the area of Mathematics by a Math Coach and or Subject Supervisor

Investigate and implement standards based strategies for writing within ELA and across disciplines Revise benchmark assessments Develop critical readers in adherence to the standards through curriculum guidelines. Incorporate more non-fiction and paired texts Investigate best practices for synthesis, close reading, and vocabulary development Emphasize non-fiction text in the Middle Schools through Achieve 3000 Teachers, 1, 3 Teachers, OnCourse Lessons Plans, Assessments, Assessment Data Sign- In Sheets, Agendas, Meeting Minutes,, Performance Report, Assessments, Assessment Data Develop a professional development needs assessment (Survey, Lesson Plan Review, Administrator Feedback) and design a professional development calendar based on the results. Topics may include but are not limited to: Data Analysis, Formative and Summative Assessments, Best Practices in Content Areas, Targeted interventions, reading strategies, & PARCC Aligned Resources Approved Professional Development Plan Provide a framework in which teachers will provide targeted interventions and academic supports during the freshmen year for students identified as at risk. Analyze the districts professional development needs for Title I and Title III programs for new and existing staff members in the areas of: Leveled Literacy Intervention WIDA Analyze best practices and provide professional development on how to utilize block scheduling at the High School level effectively to close the achievement gap in ELA and Mathematics for all populations. 4 Utilize APEX effectively by providing professional development on a continual basis through teacher led cohorts. Teachers, Sign-In Sheets, APEX logins Provide professional development for Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to improve target interventions in a co-teach model. will train teachers on meeting the needs of all students in the classroom utilizing diagnostic and prescriptive teaching methodologies. Evaluations Creation and implementation of rigorous assessments aligned to grade or course specific standards within a particular content area, matched to clear learning outcomes, and detailed in a road map of a high quality delivery system. Central Coaches, Teachers Performance Plus Reports, Student Assessment Samples, Sign-In Sheets, Agendas, Meeting Minutes Creation and implementation of an Assessment Plan for each of the grade levels/courses/content areas to include but not limited to: Providing Benchmark data on a consistent basis to inform instruction. Provide data for SGO creation, monitoring, and attainment. Central Coaches, Teachers Performance Plus Reports, Student Assessment Samples, Sign-In Sheets, Agendas, Meeting Minutes Analyze data from DRA2 and district identified benchmark assessments for ELA and Mathematics to determine intervention needs. Creating a school year focus on best practice for instruction, unpacking the standards, integration of technology, differentiation of instruction, classroom management techniques, modifications, and accommodations Enhance the district s Mentoring Program to include but not limited to: Creating a summer focus on the effective Mentoring. Design a data driven model for the creation of school improvement plans. Analyze school based data to create smart goal to address the achievement gap.
