3 ORACLE CPQ CLOUD Oracle Configure, Price, and Quote Cloud (Oracle CPQ Cloud) enables companies to streamline the entire opportunity-to-quote-to-order process, including product selection, configuration, pricing, quoting, ordering, and approval workflows. Oracle CPQ Cloud provides a flexible, scalable, enterprise-ready CPQ solution ideal for large companies with complex products and services across direct, indirect, and ecommerce sales channels. INTEGRATION ORACLE INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS CPQ Cloud introduces several standardized point-to-point integrations to enhance the experience for customers who currently have, or are looking to adopt, other Oracle products to fit their business needs. These standard point-to-point integrations include: Oracle Financials Cloud Integration: Enables a CPQ Cloud user to create invoices in Financials Cloud directly from CPQ Cloud. Oracle Fusion Order Management Integration: Enables a CPQ Cloud user to capture an order in CPQ Cloud, send it to Oracle Fusion Order Management, track order status, and cancel or update the in-flight order. Oracle Web Commerce Integration: Enables CPQ Cloud users to add direct sales workflows to Web Commerce shopping carts. SALESFORCE.COM INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS Further demonstrating Oracle s commitment to its Salesforce.com-integrated customers, CPQ Cloud introduces several enhancements to the existing Salesforce integration in this release. OAuth 2.0 secure login functionality: this modernization of the user authentication mechanism allows greater security than the legacy authentication mechanism used in the CPQ Cloud- Salesforce.com integration. When a customer upgrades to OAuth 2.0, Salesforce-generated tokens are stored within Oracle CPQ and used for integration requests instead of users Salesforce passwords. Upgrading to OAuth 2.0 will have no impact on end-user experience. A new page in CPQ Cloud to organize each user s various integration credentials (CRM, esignature, etc.) in one location 3

4 A new field allows admins to concisely specify the attribute that the Opportunity ID will be mapped to during a Salesforce integration CPQ Cloud as a Force.com Canvas App Fixes for previously reported issues SALESFORCE COMMERCE INTEGRATION MANAGED PACKAGE The Salesforce Commerce Integration Managed Package has been updated to v5.0 to reflect the Salesforce Integration enhancements. WEB SERVICES ENHANCEMENTS A new generation of Web Services, v2.0, improves the application s ability to integrate with third party systems via Web Services through greater scalability and conformity to industry standards. Customers that previously had access to Web Services v1.0 will retain access in addition to having Web services v2.0. Clustering Support to improve SOAP scalability for multi-node CPQ Cloud environments Stateless authentication: login and logout are performed within every SOAP call, eliminating the need for additional calls Web Services Security standard-based authentication to improve security in Web Services integrations, further protecting customer data NEW INTEGRATION FUNCTIONS New integration functions allow administrators to integrate with third party systems directly, without the use of middleware, for a wide variety of use cases. This simplifies the IT footprint that customers must maintain to integrate CPQ Cloud with other applications and enables administrators to perform integrations in changing IT landscapes with greater agility, greater ease, and less implementation time. Four XML functions to facilitate more efficient building of outbound SOAP messages Two URL access functions to increase flexibility of integration using Web Services and adhere to the Web Services Addressing standard A String function to return the Base64 encoding of a string for security and validation A Direct DB Access function to simplify access to stored transaction information 4

5 END USER ADOPTION MOBILE COMMERCE The addition of mobile Commerce to the existing mobile CPQ Cloud platform empowers sales reps with an end-to-end tablet-optimized experience; from product configuration through pricing, approvals, and document generation. Mobile Commerce layouts not only give sales reps a convenient way of creating and editing transactions on the go; they also allow for side-by-side collaborative selling between the sales rep and the customer, further eliminating the possibility of miscommunication and wasted back-and-forth work. Mobile support for the native DocuSign integration gives sales reps the opportunity to close deals on premise with the customer by sending electronic-signature-ready documents from a mobile device. The ability to create and configure tablet-optimized Commerce layouts based on existing desktop layouts Mobile adoption of the existing DocuSign integration, allowing users to send documents for electronic signature on a mobile device TRANSLATIONS The CPQ Cloud Product and the associated Reference Application have been fully translated in the following languages: Chinese (simplified) Chinese (traditional) French (Canadian) French (European) German Italian Japanese Korean Portuguese (Brazilian) Russian Spanish 5

6 EASY ADMINISTRATION SEPARATE CSS FILES FOR PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS AND END USERS New CSS functionality allows host companies to further tailor the CPQ Cloud user experience of their sales partners with company-specific branding. In addition, the look and feel of administration pages will remain consistent while admins adjust styling for end user pages. Partner-specific stylesheets: custom branding can be defined that is only seen by the respective partner s users Standard administration CSS: admin changes to the styling of end-user pages do not affect administration pages GENERAL ENHANCEMENTS EXPORT MORE DAYS OF DATA USING DATA CUBE EXPORTS Populating a data warehouse, once set up, should be an automated process. However, occasional maintenance and administration requires the admin to send more or less data. To accommodate this need, admins can now change the number of days of transaction data to export through an easy-to-use administration screen. GETOLDVALUE BML AND FORMULA MANAGEMENT FUNCTION The getoldvalue function retrieves the previous value of an attribute instead of the current value. This can be used by admins in both BML and Formulas to perform a variety of field validations and to write conditional logic. ATTACHMENT ATTRIBUTES IN BML FUNCTIONS File attachment attributes can now be imported into BML so that functions and validations can act based on the presence or absence of a file in the attribute. 6
