1 MTH 100 Intermediate College Algebra Plan of Instruction COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides a study of algebraic concepts such as linear equations inequalities in two variables, quadratic equations, systems of equations, radical rational expressions equations. Functions relations are introduced graphed. This course does not apply toward the general core requirement for mathematics. Solve a variety of problems related to graphing writing equations of lines. Solve systems of linear equations in two variables using a variety of methods. Factor polynomials. Solve or simplify problems related to rational expressions. Solve or simplify problems related to radical expressions. Evaluate basic algebraic functions. Solve quadratic equations.
