Meaningful innovations " Improve quality of life of users " Provide value for organizations " Enable supporting ecosystems " Improve quality of life in society 26
New value propositions need to: " Offer pleasurable experience for the user, which changes behaviour permanently " Provide opportunity for organisations to do well to ensure continuity " Enable ecosystems to do good and provide value to stakeholders " Make it possible to improve quality of life in society 27
Multiple actors needed to: " Jointly contribute knowledge, experience, resources " To deeply understand the societal issues at hand " To generate ideas that really solve problems 28
Design Thinking
Inspiration: Design Thinking It appears that there are two different streams in design thinking, one in design and another in management. Moreover, academics consider the roots of design thinking to go back to the 1960s, whereas practitioners regard the concept as a rather recent phenomenon having formed during the 2000s.
