Dhamer Town Square / Huntley American Legion Hall / 1 st Congregational Church / Huntley Chamber Offices Coral Street, Huntley, IL Schedule of Events Noon 4:00 pm Indoor Farmers Market (1 st Congregational Church) Shop the farmers market and stock up on all your favorite non-produce items for your holiday entertaining and for the winter! Kris Kringle Market on the Square Shop the Craft Fair and Huntley Home Based Businesses for an assortment of gifts for friends and family. Perfect for all your holiday parties and holiday gift buying! Cookie Walk (1 st Congregational Church) Sponsored by the 1 st Congregational Handbell Choir. Come early to get the best selection of your favorite Christmas Cookies to eat, give as gifts, or freeze for the holidays! Cookies will be sold for only $6.00 per pound! Friends of the Library Book Sale (in American Legion Hall) Shop for a wide variety of great books! Live Nativity - Watch Trinity Lutheran Church perform a live nativity in front of their church on Church Street 1:00 & 3:00 pm Seasonal Handbell Music provided by the Whitechapel Handbell Choir of the 1 st Congregational Church (performances will be ½ hour in length) 4:00 pm Holiday Lights Parade 2012 Theme Santa s Workshop Bundle up and watch the parade kick off from Ol Timer Park travel south on Church Street to Main Street to Woodstock Street and end on Coral Street. The parade will conclude with the arrival of Santa at which time there will be caroling, free hot chocolate and the lighting of the holiday tree and the Town Square. 4 Be creative! Be Festive! Village of Huntley Holiday Lights Parade 2012 Theme Santa s Workshop Participant Instructions Join us at this great Community Event! The Holiday Lights Parade will kick-off from Ol Timer Park at 4:00 pm. All parade participants should assemble at the Ol Timer Park parking lot beginning at 3:30 pm. Parade marshals will be there to assist you in finding your spot in the line up. Parade Route: The parade will kick-off from Ol Timer Park and go south on Church Street to Main Street to Woodstock Street, turn right to go north and disperse from there. Walking groups will be able to go right onto Coral Street and vehicles are to find alternative parking (Coral Street will be closed to vehicular traffic). The parade will conclude with the arrival of Santa, at which time there will be caroling, free hot chocolate and the lighting of the holiday tree in the town square! Free pictures with Santa in the Gazebo will begin after the tree lighting. First and second place awards will be given for the following: Best of Theme Best Float Show Stopper Please Note: Candy may not be thrown during the parade but may be handed out (per Police Order).
