1 Vendor Opportunities Woods Valley Road, Valley Center, CA * * Bates Spring Festival Arts, Crafts & Vintage Markets Saturday, April 23 rd & Sunday, April 24 th Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Show Sunday, April 24 th 9:00 am to 2:30pm This market started as a Fine Art Fair over 40 years ago and evolved into an Arts and Crafts Fair in the 80 s until now, over the past few years we have begun experimenting with antique and vintage vendors, observing trends and watching and listening to the interests of our customers. Decorating trends and consumer interests are continually changing and we need to keep up with the changing market. Therefore, Bates is going to be encouraging and inviting those with upcycled, recycled, vintage and antique vendors to join in our annual markets along with our crafters and artists. Customers are looking for recycled, restored, vintage, antique, and made in the USA vendors. Come and join us and share your love of crafting, collecting and gifting others. Please join us in creating an event we can be proud of to share with our customers. Like always this will be a juried market and we will be looking how your merchandise is displayed. The market coincides with the Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Show on Sunday, April 24 th. A great combination of fun for women, men and families of all ages to come and see the products you are selling. In addition we will feature our Spring Food Truck Festival on Saturday, April 23 rd. No parking or admission. 10X15 spaces. $ for a booth. The Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Club and participants will roll into the Bates Farm on Sunday morning with over 250 cars. We cap it at 100 participants selling and it sells out. Whether you choose to come and shop or sell or barter it s a morning of fun. Clean out your closet of unwanted treasures! It s a tradition. The farm is full of fall decorations, food, music, hayrides, straw maze, pony rides, petting corral and fun for the whole family. Christmas Arts, Crafts & Vintage Market Sat. & Sun., November 5 th & 6 th Fri. Sun., November 25 th 27 th Both markets are a great place to showcase your products! Bates Nut Farm is the place to be, starting with breakfast, Santa Claus and one of a kind holiday shopping, live music and a Christmas list to fill. Santa arrives Friday, November 25 th and Saturday, November 27 th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the tractor hayride and spends time with the kids finding out their Christmas lists and getting those memorable pictures. Free parking and admission. 10X15 space. $ East County Cruisers Car Show & Toy Drive Saturday, November 5 th 9:00 am 2:30pm For more information Bring back the true meaning of Christmas this season with gingerbread making, Santa Claus, face painting, balloon making and fun crafts for the kids. Santa will be arriving by fire truck on Friday lighting up the tree and arriving to the North Pole on the Polar Express and making a comeback on Saturday from the North Pole to greet the kids and families and take the kids wish lists. Many community churches, clubs and non-profits come together to make this event happen. Only a limited number of vendors are allowed, so don t put off signing up. 10X15, Cost $65. The Valley Center Lion s Pancake Breakfast at all Arts, Crafts & Vintage Markets and Car Shows The Valley Center Lion s Club serves breakfast for all Arts, Crafts & Vintage Markets listed on the next page. They appreciate your support of their breakfast, which helps them to support those in need of eye care, glasses and a variety of kids needs in our community. Breakfast is $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and includes: pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice and coffee. 3 1. Complete and mail this Application (2 pages) including the following: a. Applications must be complete and are juried on a first come first served basis. b. Attach 2 or more photos of the products you plan to sell and a photo of your booth set-up. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your photos returned. c. Include a COPY of your Resale License/Seller s Permit, as required by law. d. Include a check for your booth payment with the application or pay one month in advance and add an additional $5.00 reservation fee per booth space. 2. A confirmation notice of acceptance will be made through , unless noted differently. If full, your payment will be returned and you will be placed on a waiting list. 3. Cancellations must be made in writing or at least 2 weeks prior to the fair to receive a refund. You will be refunded in full minus a $10.00 cancellation fee per booth. Manufactured, commercial, imported or purchased for resale items are not allowed. You can be asked to leave if selling items other than what was juried. Pictures are required. No resale items allowed!
