2 Spartan Band Big Trip 2011 Information When: Spring Break 2011 Saturday April 2 to Sunday April 10, 2011 Where: Central Europe Prague, Vienna, Salzburg Who: Open to all Band Students including Fall 2010 incoming Freshmen Parents and siblings of Band Students are also welcome What: Performance Tour 2 Concert Band Performances plus Touring Why: Musical Education and Cultural Experience Central Europe chosen for rich musical history and outstanding tourist locations How Much: $3,000 per traveler paid over 10 months $300 monthly payments from March 1, 2010 to December 1, 2010 For questions on payments, contact Jack Snowiss at JSnow@earthlink.net Optional Travel Insurance will be available in June See the brochure on our website for cost and insurance details Over 100 Band Students and Family Members are signed up! 2

3 Big Trip 2011 Status We are working details of the itinerary to maximize tour options with total cost not to exceed $3,000 per traveler Our Travel Agent is busy reserving hotels, buses, and tours Tickets to a performance at the Vienna Opera House have already been reserved Over 70 of our terrific band students will perform two Band Concerts during the tour The trip will be lead by Mr. King and chaperoned by band parent volunteers 1 chaperone for every ~7 students Andrea Ruof will be our Head Chaperone and Trip Coordinator The trip chaperones have been selected More trip details will be announced in the coming weeks and months Vienna is 6,115 miles from Los Angeles & 9 Hours Ahead 3
