However, while a dual-clutch gearbox was considered and rejected for the roadgoing GT4, the racer gets steering wheelmounted paddles controlling a PDK transmission. 5 All team drivers will be involved in de-brief and data analysis, no data will leave Lanan s control.* On-board video footage combined with full car data analysis will be a powerful tool in maximizing the car & driver s performance The team will supply a simple hospitality area close to the team for team personnel, drivers, family & guests to relax. The race car livery will be designed to maintain the Team s identity and minor sponsors in conjunction and sympathetic to the drivers sponsors and partners. After each event the car will be returned to base, where it will be stripped down to major component level. Each area will be cleaned, inspected and refreshed. Highly stressed parts will be crack tested and replaced as part of a lifing program. All bodywork will be repaired and repainted to maintain the quality presentation. Any racecar damage not covered by the Insurance policy will be the driver s responsibility All data acquisition system checked and calibrated appropriately Drivers are responsible for their personal transport, accommodation and meals. This can be organised in conjunction with the teams travel plans The drivers will be kept up to date with all Team news and will be supplied a pre-race pack, which will contain an itinerary of their movements, Hotel and specifics for the Race event. *All Data and video will be shared amongst team drivers openly, but remains the property of Lanan Racing
