7 Education and Training 2010 commonly accepted detailed work programme based on Cooperation between Member States integrates all policy areas and actions in education and training, including vocational training (Copenhagen-Process) Reference Framework for Modernisation of Educational Systems includes objectives, and core topics
8 Working group on Key Competences One of the 10 working groups established in the context of «Education and Training 2010» work programme Consisted of experts from 31 countries and stakeholders Focused on «basic skills» provision for all in the context of lifelong learning Main outcome: A European Framework for Key Competences
9 The 8 Key Competences everyone should develop during initial education and training, and that adults should learn, maintain and update through lifelong learning: Communication in the mother tongue Communication in a foreign language Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology Digital competence Learning-to-learn Social, Interpersonal and civic competence Entrepreneurship Cultural expression
10 Definition Entrepreneurship is first and foremost a state of mind It includes personal and social development as the skills needed for the workplace to cope with change and innovation. It is a competence encompassing knowledge, skills and attitude
11 3. EU Commission Communication: Fostering entrepreneurial mindsets through h education and learning
12 Objectives of the Communication Scope: Fostering entrepreneurial mindsets among young people from primary school to university education. Objectives: Set the scene, and show good practice Identify key issues to be addressed Suggest measures Trigger action in MS
13 Proposed action Reinforce cooperation between different ministries and departments, and develop a strategy on entrepreneurship rship education. Include entrepreneurship education in national or regional curricula, and give implementation guidelines to schools. Support schools and encourage take up of Support schools and encourage take-up of programmes.
14 Proposed action Provide training to teachers, and raise the awareness of heads of schools. Favour links and cooperation between schools and businesses. Higher education establishments should integrate entrepreneurship across different Subjects and offer teacher training for Entre Ed.

17 Oslo-Agenda for Entrepreneurship in Europe The aim of the "Oslo Agenda for Entrepreneurship Education" is to step up progress in promoting entrepreneurial mindsets in society, systematically and with effective actions. The Agenda is a rich menu of proposals, from which stakeholders can pick actions at the appropriate level, and adapt them to the local situation. Relevant actors are indicated for each one of the proposed actions.
