3 Lundia Original Lundia Original shelving systems are made of solid wood. They are fully extendible and can be easily installed and disassembled. Whether you prefer open or closed shelving, Lundia Original offers a range of components such as doors, drawers, back panels and other accessories to match your taste and needs. Choose between four different depths, three widths and fourteen heights to build just the right shelf for your individual furnishing needs. And with a choice of transparent and lacquered colours, you can be sure, your shelf will be as unique as you are. 4 From TV cabinet to bookcase First of all, Lundia Original is the ideal bookcase! Then, a Lundia Original bookcase is modular and flexible. Our shelves are free standing. They can be extended flexibly on either side, in height or depth - without the usual disturbing double uprights. Last but not least, Lundia Original allows you to create almost any kind of furniture. From sideboard to the sophisticated storage system or even to the ideal workplace. Lundia Original also stands for sustainability. The Original collection has been produced for more than 60 years and often lasts for generations. 4

5 Lundia is known for its high quality furniture. All our wood is sourced from European, sustainably managed woodlands. Our selected wood comes from coniferous trees that are at least 30 to 45 years old before they are cut down and delivered as raw planks to the factory. Lundia has committed itself to sustainable production. Therefore, we ensure that each component of your Lundia shelving unit complies with FSC standards. 5

6 That s how it began The Lundia Original Shelving System was invented by the Swedish carpenter Harald Lundquist 70 years ago. His intelligent and flexible solution for connecting uprights and shelves allows for quick and individual adaptation to your furnishing needs. With the Original collection, launched over 60 years ago, Lundia has created a truly timeless shelving system. Today the name Lundia stands for a consistent quality and reliable delivery. How to start Do you have a clear vision for what your shelf, your sideboard, your bookcase, your office or any other room should look like? Then please come and visit us in one of our showrooms. How to work with the price list Starting from page 8, you will find a complete overview of all currently available Lundia Original items. Make your purchase order using the respective article numbers. Basic elements Each Lundia Original shelving unit starts with two uprights and a variable number of shelves. The shelves are vertically adjustable at 5 cm increments due to the pre-drilled uprights. Shelf support pins can be easily positioned at 5 cm intervals without the need for any tools. The units will have to be stabilized using Lundia Original back panels or cross braces. Additionally, Lundia Original offers a range of further components such as doors, drawers or other accessories. Standard Measurements Lundia Original has a range of standard sizes, offering you practically unlimited potential to combine them according to your needs. The standard measurements are: Depth: Width: 22, 30, 40 en 60 cm 50, 80 en 100 cm Height : 48, 68, 73, 88, 108, 128, 148, 168, 188, 208, 228, 248, 268 en 288 cm. Please note : that the final height, width and depth of your Lundia furniture depend on a number of factors: The standard measurements mentioned above do not represent the absolute dimensions. The final size is also influenced by the composition of the elements. How to calculate the height The total height of the uprights is 0.7 cm higher than indicated in the standard measurements. When using cover strips please add another 1 cm to the height. Please bear in mind that most floors are uneven, so you might want to use shims to level the uprights. In this case you need to add the height of the shims to obtain the final height. How to calculate the width To calculate the space your shelving unit is going to take up, first add the shelf widths. Then add 3.2 cm for the first upright, plus another 0.5 cm per following upright. That s how you obtain the total width of your furniture. And by combining different shelf widths (50, 80 and 100 cm) you can make optimal use of the space available. How to calculate the depth Lundia s interior furnishing system uses uprights with depths of 22, 30, 40 or 60 cm. When adding a back panel or a cross brace please add 0.5 cm. If you want to have doors or drawers you will need to add another 1 cm. These measurements make up the total depth of your furniture. The shelf fronts are cut back by 1.5cm to fit doors and drawers. You may also combine different shelf depths (e.g. 60 cm with 30 or 40 cm, and even 30 with 40 cm). Please use tapered shelves to connect different depths. 6

The shelving system has been designed for quick installation and disassembly. Each Lundia shelving unit will be delivered with detailed assembly instructions to help you building your personal Lundia Original furniture. However, should you require your shelf to be assembled by Lundia, no problem! We are ready to help you. Please contact us for assembly charges.
