The state-of-the art centres feature simulation hospital/clinic rooms, a variety of mannequins, simulated home settings, control rooms, video cameras, debriefing rooms and health assessment rooms.

4 SERVICES: SIAST s Nursing Division supports student and faculty success by delivering innovative, relevant nursing and health education, and generating knowledge through scholarship and interprofessional collaboration. Aboriginal Nursing Student Achievement Program The Aboriginal Nursing Student Achievement Program provides support and counselling services specifically for nursing students of Aboriginal ancestry. Two SIAST Aboriginal nursing advisors are available to support the recruitment, enrolment, retention and success of Aboriginal students in all nursing programs. Internationally Educated Nurses Assessment Centre The Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) Assessment Centre assesses the professional knowledge, judgement and skills of IENs and supports them in completing their registration requirements in Saskatchewan. Campus Nurse Practitioner Services Nurse practitioner services are offered by SIAST primary care nurse practitioner program faculty at SIAST Wascana Campus in Regina. Faculty, staff and students can access primary health care services for illness prevention, health education and treatment of common acute and chronic conditions. Institute for Nursing Scholarship (INS) The Institute for Nursing Scholarship supports faculty and staff in the advancement of scholarship and research across the five scholarship pillars of discovery, application, integration, teaching and service. The INS provides consultation, advice and support for publication, presentation, grant and funding applications, and serves as a hub for research projects. Interprofessional Education The Interprofessional Education Coordinator provides leadership in advancing the delivery of interprofessional education (IPE) in nursing and science and health programs. Faculty are supported in integrating IPE in curricula, conducting interprofessional projects and activities and networking opportunities.
