Our wedding co-ordinator will take time to discuss in detail your wedding plans, guiding you through the running of the day. Our aim is to work with you to create your dream wedding, extending our experience and presenting suggestions along the way. We are also able to assist with your Wedding Ceremony, Flowers, Minister, Photographs, Piper, Organist and Entertainment etc.

This includes use of your suite with two pedestal flower arrangements. Please note that the registrar or legal fees is still the sole responsibility of the bride and groom. The hotel also hosts a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and is a fully air-conditioned venue, with a 200-space private car park providing free car parking to you and your guests.

4 Our services to you As important as everything else is we never forget that the wedding meal becomes a main focal point of the day. Our head chef and team offer a selection of menu s to choose from and of course together with you can create a menu of your choice. Modern, contemporary and stylish are three words that can describe our bedrooms. Our bedrooms all offer full en-suite facilities, free wi-fi, plasma TV s and tea and coffee making facilities. We will reserve bedrooms for your family and guests and they will receive a special overnight accommodation rate. Our stunning Honeymoon Suite is available as an upgrade for the bride and groom. Complete with flowers, chocolates and sparkling wine all delivered to the room. At certain times of the year special offers and packages are available. Please ask for details.

11 terms and conditions Confirmation & Deposits Once you have chosen your wedding date, you may hold this date provisionally for 14 days without obligation. In order to secure this date a deposit of 300 is required together with an or letter of confirmation. This is followed by a payment of 700 one year prior to your wedding date with a further 1000 payable 3 months prior to your wedding date. These deposit payments are subtracted from the final balance payable. All payments made to the hotel are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cheques should be made payable to Shawlands Park Hotel (please note that credit card payments are subject to a 4% surcharge) Accounts Payable A final account based on final guest numbers will be issued and due payable 14 days prior to the wedding date. These numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the wedding date. No refund will be issued if there is a reduction in guest numbers within the 14 days prior to the wedding date. Any increase in final guest numbers or additional requests must be confirmed and paid 48 hours prior to the wedding date. Minimum Numbers During the months of April to September, any weddings held on a Friday or Saturday will be subject to minimum numbers of 80 adults. These numbers are chargeable for the wedding meal and drinks package. Accommodation Discounted rates are available for guests attending celebrations within the hotel. Rooms can be reserved by the bride and groom. A room allocation form will be provided to the bride and groom to complete with guest names and contact details. This form must be returned to the hotel no later than 12 weeks prior to the wedding date. After this time any rooms un-allocated will be released to any other guests who wish to contact the hotel direct. The Bride and Groom remain liable for all rooms reserved under their guest allocation form and will be charged accordingly for any non-arrival. The rooms on the allocation from are also subject to a 14 day cancellation policy. Nearer the wedding date the management reserve the right to apply further discounted rates to all available rooms within the hotel on the wedding date. This will be done at the discretion of the management. General Responsibility Whilst every effort is made to safeguard the clients property RAD Limited do not accept any liability for any loss of damage caused. Nor can the hotel be responsible for wedding gifts or decorations that have been delivered to, or handed over to a member of staff or representative. Any damage by the client or guests to hotel grounds or property as a result of vandalism or negligence will be the responsibility of the client or guests. Strictly no wines, spirits, beverages or food may be brought into the Hotel, allocated rooms or grounds by the client or guests for consumption on the premises under any circumstances VAT All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate
