8 What is Cal Rentals? We are a rental housing listing service for the UC Berkeley community. We assist university affiliates find off campus housing. We are NOT Craigslist.

26 Signing a Housing Contract Agreement between two parties usually enforceable by law If it is important to you, read the whole contract Don t sign if you are not clear Read the fine print Be brave, ask questions

27 Be Aware of Scams These primarily appear as online advertisements on (sites such as craigslist.org). The contact person will insist that you send them money for housing accommodations even though you have not yet visited the property in person. When students show up to the address, the place is unavailable. If you are required to wire money ahead of time, please be sure the housing post is legitimate
