3 Tournament Director! On behalf of the board of directors, members and staff at Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club welcome and thank you for the opportunity to host your golf tournament. At Sturgeon Valley it is our goal to offer you a worry free, first class golf experience while enjoying our mature championship golf course. Enclosed you will find several different tournament options that are available for your event. All of our packages and services feature all inclusive pricing including G.S.T. and gratuities. You will also find enclosed information about the club, menu selections, tournament regulations and shotgun starts. Should you have any questions, or wish to reserve your event date, please give me a call at Mark Beckwith General Manager About the Club Sturgeon Valley is a member owned semi-private golf facility that was founded just outside the northeast boundary of St. Albert in During the course of its history, the club has undergone significant changes to both the course and the clubhouse in its continued quest to be the semi-private facility of choice for golfers in the greater Edmonton area. Members and guests now enjoy a mature well-manicured golf course that offers a challenge to all levels of players. Sturgeon Valley also has a full compliment of services including great dining, a complete practice facility and an award winning golf shop. 7 Tournament Organizers The Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club enjoys having tournaments at our course. We would however, like to draw your attention to the following established policies. In order to have a shotgun start; the normal requirement is 144 players. Small shotgun groups can be accommodated depending upon day and required number of players. Concession and beverage/liquor cart is available on the course. The snack shack between the ninth and tenth hole is also open for service. You are reminded that smoking is not permitted in the clubhouse at Sturgeon Valley. Please let participants know that our dress code is in effect. Denim of any color is not accepted. On course sponsored refreshment holes are allowed, but must first be confirmed by the club. Product orders for hole sponsors should be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the event in order to guarantee delivery and best pricing. Contact dales@svgcc.ca. Liquor Regulations: All provisions of the Liquor Control Act and the Liquor Licence Act of Alberta and their regulations must be strictly followed. No alcoholic beverages other than those provided by the golf club will be permitted anywhere on the premises. No outside liquor allowed. No person shall consume alcoholic beverages to the point of impairment or intoxication. Any person not adhering to the above rules shall have all privileges suspended and is subject to removal from the premises. The above policies were developed by the Board of Directors of the Sturgeon Valley Golf Club and are enforced in the best interest of both the membership and your tournament.
