Major responsibilities would include providing leadership to staff, develop and implement processes to meet regulatory requirements, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, maintain infrastructure to improve reliability and optimize investments, preparation and management of the associated annual budgets, manage and lead staff to ensure continued success in carrying out NTMWD s vision and mission. 1. Provide leadership to ensure that the mission, strategic goals, and core values are executed. 2. Responsible for the identification of capital project needs, coordinates with Planning and Engineering departments in successful execution of capital improvements, and facilitates handoff of projects to facility staff. 7. Communicate effectively with staff reporting up through you, the NTMWD Management, Board of Directors, other departments, regulatory agencies, Cities served, and other groups and/or committees as needed. 8. Training and Development Manager Position Code: WWG Closing Date: 09/09/16 Wastewater General $83,893 - $124,162 annually DOQ This position is responsible for providing the leadership and management to develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive technical training program in support of our wastewater operations staff to support the growth, development, and promotion of our staff. 1. Provide leadership and management to develop a comprehensive technical training program including instructor led training, standard operating procedures, elearning, and field guides in support of wastewater operations. 2. Assess wastewater operations staff technical development needs and develop and implement programs to fill the needs. 3. This individual directs the operations which involve training and direction of a minimum 10 employees. This individual is also responsible for the correct and safe operation of all plant processes and equipment. 1. Dictates settings for all operational processes and equipment such as levels, flows, pressures, temperature and any other things related to the operation of the process. 2.
