1 POSITION DESCRIPTION Loca%on: Based at Wallara Industries Warehouse Manager - Employment Primary purpose of role: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day to day planning, applica:on and coordina:on of the warehouse. Under the direc:on of the General Manager the Warehouse Manager will provide a safe and func:onal opera:on of the warehouse. Decisions will be made within the limits endorsed by the General Manager and in consulta:on with the produc:on team and relevant staff. 1. 2 KRA 1 Warehouse Ensure all stock/goods are warehoused appropriately Manage and monitor stock levels (stocktake) to ensure accurate informa:on at all :mes Manage and monitor Inventory system Liaise with customer/suppliers regarding stock progress and movement Accept and receipt all goods Dispatch of outgoing goods Planning of and scheduling of the warehouse in order to achieve goals Achievement of produc:on goals at the required level of quality and product output Liaise with General Manager and produc:on team to provide the op:mum outcome in the organisa:on and setup of jobs Assess and organise appropriate equipment and machinery to ensure effec:ve produc:on Follow safety policies and procedures to maintain safety standards Monitor warehouse processes and proac:vely iden:fy and address barriers to mee:ng goals and improving efficiencies within the workplace Monitor and maintain quality standards Trouble shoot and problem solve rou:ne warehouse problems Manage a team of warehouse staff Liaise with relevant staff to ensure smooth flow of informa:on and product to achieve produc:on goals Work prac:ses are con:nually monitored to meet WH&S requirements Ensure efficient movement of goods to and from and within the warehouse Advise customers of stock shortages and work to resolve macers Ensure that pallets stored are correctly wrapped and safely placed on racks Dispose of pallets appropriately Customer outcomes are met Supported employee outcomes are met Warehouse jobs flow smoothly Teams know what needs to be done and the :melines of each job Minimum disrup:on to jobs and produc:on lines Resources are u:lised effec:vely Regular reviews are conducted to maximise efficiency Warehousing efficiencies are op:mised 2

3 KRA 2 Administra%on KRA 3 Safety and Risk Management KRA 4 Leadership KRA 5 Ac%vely contribute to Wallara s culture, values and objec%ves Manage, maintain and monitor warehouse schedule Nego:ate the absolute best value on warehouse and transport Liaise with suppliers to ensure on :me deliveries Complete all required documenta:on Use internal mail, ekey, case notes Supervise staff to facilitate a working environment that is safe, suppor:ve and encouraging at all :mes Equipment / machinery is maintained and in safe working order at all :mes Appropriately report all hazards or incidents that may pose a risk Conduct risk assessments prior to the commencement of all warehouse jobs Supervise warehouse team Ensure staff acend induc:on and are orientated appropriately Provide staff and supported employees with prac:cal assistance, advice, support and direc:on ACend and par:cipate in team and staff mee:ngs Conduct annual staff appraisals Adhere to Wallara s policy and procedures Appropriate ac:on taken in regards to grievances, complaints and resolu:on Promote and maintain posi:ve image of Wallara through regular communica:ons with key personnel and key stakeholders Understand, contribute or par:cipate in Con:nuous Quality Improvement ac:vi:es Ac:vely contribute to and value add to the broader strategic planning process within area of responsibility Warehouse schedule informa:on is accurate and current at all :mes Work instruc:ons are clear and concise and meet required standards Adheres to Wallara s IT use policy Warehouse areas are free from rubbish/materials that create workplace hazards Risk management strategies in place MaCers of concern/reportable conduct macers managed as per policy Lead by example and provide a posi:ve role model Staff feel valued and supported Compliant with Wallara s Code of Conduct Mutual respect and co- opera:on exists Keep abreast of industry developments and changes that could impact on Wallara Adopt and encourage a Con:nuous Improvement approach to service delivery Ac:vely involved and on commicees Risk management strategies in place MaCers of concern/reportable conduct macers managed as per policy 3
