3 Tufwell Glass Products 02 Introduction Tufwell Glass is a specialist in glass processing and supplies glass to the architectural glazing and interiors markets Tufwell Glass has a wide range of glass products all stored in jumbo sizes. This includes floats, laminates, and acoustics laminates. Tufwell uses state of the art machines and finishing techniques to produce stunning products quickly and efficiently, which allows us to keep order turn around time to a minimum.

5 Tufwell Glass Products 04 Products and Services Partitioning Tufwell offers a single and double glazed range of frameless partitioning providing an open plan feel to office space while maintaining a level of privacy. The system consists of a 25mm deep head, floor and wall abutment glazing channel incorporating PETG clear vertical dry glass joints and clear perimeter glazing gasket. Balustrade Glass Available to surround staircases in any shape or finish including curved glass. Toughened Glass Tufwell has its own dedicated glass tempering facility and can provide large toughened sheets, thicknesses and shapes all of which meet BS EN and has third party approval. Polished Glass Tufwell has the latest glass polishing equipment offering an extensive range of edgework and polished finishes. Drilled Glass Holes drilled in glass allow for the glass to be mounted, bolted or otherwise attached to other surface materials. Sand Blasted Glass Sand blasting allows more variation with the use of different sand coarseness and depth of blasting, giving the finished product a richer textured appearance. The glass can have a protective coating applied for shower door applications. Glass Worktop Tufwell provides a range of standard thickness, all of which can be shaped to customer requirements. Mirrored Glass Making a stunning centrepiece to almost any studio or gym, mirrored walls are also a good way of increasing the visual size of a room. Fire Approved Glass Tufwell provides fire products to fulfil a wide variety of performances and appearances enabling specifiers to obtain all requirements for fire and speciality glasses from a single source. Pyro-Tuf Our in-house fire glass is rated for 30 minutes integrity and independently tested by Certfire. Acoustic Laminated Glass Tufwell stocks three types of acoustic glass (6.8mm, 10.8mm & 12.8mm). CNC Shaped Glass Using the latest in CNC technology, almost any conceivable shape can be produced to create stunning visual effects as well as practical and functional applications.

7 Tufwell Glass Products 06 Fundamental Processes CNC Shaping Tufwell Glass offers a full Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) shaping service. Using the latest in CNC Technology, almost any conceivable shape can be produced to create stunning visual effects as well as practical and functional applications. This process is ideal for use with bespoke designs and produces a uniquely finished product which makes an impact when used with other modern materials and finishes. Tufwell can advise on all aspects of CNC shaping. Glass Drilling Holes drilled in glass allow the glass to be mounted, bolted or otherwise attached to other surface materials. Drilling work is carried out before the glass is toughened. Toughened Glass Popular throughout the world, toughened (or tempered) glass is used for a diverse range of functions including glazed partitions, windows, doors, furniture, balustrades and signs. Toughened glass is formed by passing annealed glass through a temperature and time controlled furnace which takes the glass temperature to approximately 650 c. Compared to standard annealed glass, toughened glass offers far greater mechanical strength and controlled fracturing to prevent shards in the event of breakage. Virtually any shape of glass can be toughened provided the size of the shape fits within the constraints of the toughening plant. All our glass is third party tested to BS EN

11 Tufwell Glass Products 10 Tufwell partitioning Single Glazed Single glazed system in 10mm and 12mm toughened glass gasket glazed to a minimal perimeter channel with PETG dry vertical joints. Perimeter channels are held in stock in SAA and White (RAL 9010) finishes with special colours available to order. This system offers frameless glass doors and aluminium door frames with glass doors.

The adjacent picture illustrates the Dorma Manet sliding system with pillar fix satin stainless steel pull handles. The below picture shows the Dorma Agile 150 sliding system with bolt through glass fixing. Tufwell is a main agent for Dorma Glass and recommend the quality and reliability of their glass fixings.
