3 ABOUT US Aurelio Meler founded Eureka Colour in 1991, and ever since the company has pursued the research and development in the production and Business to Business sale of high quality varnishes and paintings almost exclusively in the woodworking field. Initially specialized mainly in the mouldings and frames field, the company has later developed into the furniture, parquet, windows and doors business, both in the Italian and overseas markets. Eureka colour has always based its activities in the research of the best quality of its products. Innovation is crucial in the company philosophy. Thanks to our commitment to research new products, we can offer updated and improved solutions. Our laboratory is exclusively devoted to the research of new solutions, to improve the existing products and the quality control of the sold goods. 6 TOP PRODUCTS ARG The new ARG process is an exclusive paint system developed in Eureka Colour s laboratories. It has no competitors for easiness of application and final result. Thanks to its formulation it allows to reach an extreme brilliant chrome effect in the varnished surfaces. ARG product is the silver layer that is available in two different colour versions: ARG 15 - High gloss light silver chrome paint ARG 10 - High gloss light chrome paint ARG product is a one-component product characterized by a really fast drying time and an extreme chrome brilliant appearance. A thin layer of product is enough to give a mirror-effect to the varnished surfaces. This brilliant effect is maintained also after the application of the finish coat. ARG process is suitable for several supporting surfaces as frames and mouldings, furniture, parquets and other kind of materials as ceramics and metals that have been previously treated. 8 TOP PRODUCTS GE Ge process has been developed in Eureka Colour laboratory and it allows to reach a really brilliant gold effect on the varnished surfaces. GE product is fitted for the gold film and it s available in two different shade: GE High gloss green - gold chrome paint GE High gloss orange - gold chrome paint GE product is a one-component product characterized by a really fast drying time and an extreme chrome brilliant appearance. It s suitable for several supporting surfaces as frames and mouldings, furniture, parquets and other kind of materials as ceramics and metals that have been previously treated. 9 TOP PRODUCTS MET / HOLOGRAM The MET / HOLOGRAM process allows to achieve a tridimensional effect. The design obtained is unique and it gives an original fingerprint on the sprayed surface. The tridimensional effect appears with the drying of KR 100 and different drying modalities can modify the final design. Four different colours of MET are available: MET 11 MET 21 MET 31 MET 81 This process can be used in frames, mouldings, furniture and all kinds of material that have been previously treated with clinging primer. Is possible to obtain the best results in flat areas. 10 TOP PRODUCTS SILVER 11 & GOLD 21 GOLD 21 - Two component paint for glossy gold effect GOLD 21 is a polyurethane two-component paint that gives a final glossy gold appearance. This product allows to imitate the gold leaf application reducing the application time and imperfections of the manual work. The gold film is easily sprayed on the surface and its drying time is very quick. In order to guarantee a perfect grip performance and the maintenance of the gloss, it is necessary to fix Gold 21 with a specific topcoat. This process can be used in frames, mouldings, furniture, parquets and all kinds of material that have been previously treated with clinging primer. 11 TOP PRODUCTS SILVER 11 & GOLD 21 SILVER 11 - Two component paint for glossy silver effect SILVER 11 is a polyurethane two-component paint characterized by final high glossy silver appearance. 12 TOP PRODUCTS MOULDINGS AND FURNITURE With more than twenty-year experience in the field of paints for wood mouldings and furniture we have formulated the following patinas and special paints for gilding: Antique Finish Patinas and Topcoats - AS 08. Alcohol based coloured patinas These alcohol-based patinas have been specifically formulated to give a special antique look to the varnished surfaces. This aged effect is caused by their easiness in the sanding process. Alcohol-based patinas are diluted with ethyl alcohol. The primary colours can be mixed together in order to obtain the required shade. - AS 14. Bronzed varnishes for sandpapering These bronzed solvent-based patinas allow to reach a singular brightness of the varnished surfaces thanks to their formulation which include special metallic particles. They are characterized by a quick drying capability and extreme easiness of the sanding process. Alcohol-based bronzed patinas are diluted with ethyl alcohol or acetone. They are available in three different colours: AS 1457 Orange-Gold bronzed varnish for sandpapering AS 1466 Copper bronzed varnish for sandpapering AS 1477 Silver bronzed varnish for sandpapering 12

13 - ASW 10. Water based coloured patina Diluted with as much water as required, the water-based patinas represent a free-solvent alternative to the common antique patinas. They quickly form a coloured layer on the surfaces that can be easily removed by sanding. There are several colours available that can be directly required by the customer. - PP14. Bronze solvent based finishes The bronze paints are formulated with special resins characterized by their quick drying time, a good final hardness and a bronzed appearance. 14 TOP PRODUCTS MOULDINGS AND FURNITURE Special Paints For Gilding - PP 1000 / PP 1002 Water based mission for gold leaf The water-based mission is a special glue elaborated for the hand application of gold and silver leaf on mouldings and frames. It s available both in a version applicable by brush / buffer or by spray machine. Both of them are ready to be use but can be eventually diluted with water. After 3-4 hours is possible to go on with the gilding process. - LN 755 Nitro paint for hot gilding It s a nitro based product intentionally worked out to facilitate the hot gilding. The particular formulation of the raw components gives the varnish an elastic effect that improves and facilitates the adhesion of the plastic film, also after many days from the spraying of the product. 15 CERTIFIED PRODUCTS ANTIBACTERIAL VARNISHES Antibacterial varnishes represent a huge chemical revolution applied to the paints field. The antibacterial treatment prevents pathogens and bacteria from growing on the surfaces. This is confirmed by tests performed following ISO 22196:2011. This polyurethane water-based finish has been developed to guarantee an antibacterial protection lasting in time on the treated surfaces. The use of this treatment is suggested to treat children s furniture or places where hygiene is fundamental. Two different lines of antibacterial products are available: APW Clear antibacterial polyurethane water based finish APW Coloured antibacterial polyurethane water based finish APW Coloured antibacterial polyurethane water based embossed effect finish APW product is a two-component varnish. It spreads smoothly on the surface and it s characterized by a high filling power, an excellent final harness together with a remarkable chemical resistance. 16 CERTIFIED PRODUCTS FLAME RETARDANT PRODUCTS The fire reaction of combustible materials, in particularly of wood, is connected with several factors such as the fire spreading speed, the dripping and the presence of incandescent areas after the flame exposure. There are rules and regulations that classify materials according to the way they react in case of fire. It s necessary to distinguish the materials regulations from the rules that regulate the varnishes. Regulation DM 09/03/92 allows to classify a varnish that directly transfers its proprieties to the treated material, except of veneer panels, panels with honeycomb or hardboard structure. Tests performed following the above regulations ensure the fire-retardant proprieties in all wood surfaces, considering the mentioned exceptions, independently of their use (floor, wall, ceiling..) AFV 400 flame retardant is certified flame-retardant surface coating of 1st fire reaction class in accordance to DM 09/03/92 regulations. It s composed by AFV400 (primer coat) and AFV 400 Top (finish coat), that are both polyurethane two-component paints. Application Modalities First use 300 g/m² of basecoat AFV 400 and apply two coats of product (150 g/m² for each layer). Wait one hour before applying the second layer. After 24 hours from the basecoat application, sand the surface softly with sandpaper , then apply 100g/m² of AFV 400 TOP topcoat. The treated surfaces reach the flame retardant characteristics when it is completely dry. Total consume of product The proper quantity of product that has to be used to reach the fire reaction class 1 is about 400 g/cm2 (300 g/cm2 of AFV g/cm2 of AFV400 TOP). This quantity refers to products that have not been dilute. 16

To conform to ISO 9001 means to create an operative system whose requirements respect the requested rules in the company. The standard requirements are applied to all the firm processes, from the commercial to the purchasing management, manufacturing, etc. ISO 9001 Certification is granted when all the requirements it demands are followed. Every year the company is tested and the certification renewed.
