1 Purchasing Policy Bastion Hotels Who are we? We are Quality Department and Purchase of Bastion Hotels. We provide procurement, quality assurance and policy concerning the purchase of 31 hotels in the Netherlands and one in Germany. The Bastion Hotels is committed to a sustainable procurement. 4 Purchase Guidelines Selecting more environmentally and socially responsible F & B products Reducing the use of environmentally harmful substances. This is done by utilizing as much as possible: Environmentally friendly paints with European Ecolabel, Eco, NF environment or natural paints Detergents with environmental label Reduce packaging by means Minimizing packaging in mono sugar, coffee, meats, cheeses, yogurt, granola, cereal, coffee cake, pepper biscuits, jam, crackers and rusks Give preference to local suppliers, vendors that provide sustainable products or suppliers with whom a sustainability declaration is signed.
